For some reason ITV writers are scared to write their female leads anything but paragon of virtue.

There are exceptional cases like Behadh but it was more because of central concept varna tho 90% of leads on TV are boring

Jennifer was flawless as Maya. Acting..looks..totally perfect.

But Maya character is not something we would want in real life as person🤢
