Is Vansh’s love confession another trap?

I feel like Vansh is playing Riddhima like a maestro. He knows she has a soft and emotional side to her when it comes to him. Jab anger and threats didn’t work, he has resorted to emotional blackmail and playing on her feelings for him.

We saw that Vansh immediately doubted Riddhima when he saw Ragini was missing. He stormed into the house with the full intention of taking his anger out on her. When he saw her in the room, it may have struck him that she is incredibly smart and he can use that smartness against her. Hence, the whole scene of emotional vulnerability to get her on his side.

Since Vansh already doubted Ridz earlier, his statement today that “Sorry kyun ho tum? Tumne kya kiya? Main tum pe shaq kaise kar sakta hoon” and all indicates that he is manipulating her.

Vansh is no fool. He knows his only chance to get to Ragini now is to indulge her kidnapper - who is Ridz. She is the only way he can reach Ragini again. The love confession just didn’t look genuine enough to me. It can be that Vansh loves her truly, of course, but the way it was said by him seemed like he is playing her big time.

What do you guys think?

I don't think Vansh love confession is a trap..

He might be playing a game but he is not that stone hearted that he will fake his feelings taking his mom's name...it would be the biggest disgrace to his character

Yeah, because usually in TV shows if you see, love confessions are big affairs. They are usually incredibly grand with promo after promo. This one looked too different and tinted with an insincere tone

@bold - He isn’t faking his feelings for his Mom. The sole reason he is manipulating Ridz is because he wants to know his Mom’s truth.

To me, it looks like he is playing an emotional card to lure Riddhima into softening towards him quickly and helping him with Ragini.

Exactly....he won't disgrace his mom name ....he confessed his love in very vulnerable moment...he is feeling guilty for not giving justice to his mom.

Vansh is a man who lives on edges and extremes...so being vulnerable in love isn't a shame....it's another aspect of his character....we hv seen it before too during Uma burning portrait....he was extremely vulnerable....moi think only 2 persons can bring this vulnerable side from him are Uma and Riddhu....as he saw his mom reflection in Riddhu

Agreed..he love her genuinely but laying a trap for her perfectly..sudden change in behavior is indicating towards that..when he was playing the piano..his eyes were stating something else..I don't know why but I feel its a lovey dovey trap

I don’t doubt his feelings for his Mom. They are genuine and make him vulnerable. But I do think he is directing those same feelings to guilt Riddhima into leading him to Ragini. She is his only chance. He needs Riddhima to feel guilty and help him fast. What better way to do that than confess his love and display his genuine pain?

If he was being real and honest about his feelings towards Ridz, Vansh won’t whitewash Riddhima and be straight with her. He would probably tell her that “I know you have a hand in this but it’s my fault for not telling you the truth.” Instead he is whitewashing her and acting like he completely trusts her - which is against his character. He will not suddenly trust her completely and believe she did nothing after knowing in his gut that she is behind the kidnapping.

Aisa mera khayal hai 😄

Haan yaar. I too felt that. If Vansh was finally being honest with Riddhima, it would have looked genuine. But he was whitewashing her by staying that he knows she did nothing in the kidnapping and that he can trust her completely.

Ek dum se kaise palat jayega Vansh when just moments back he wanted to kill her in his anger?
