I think Zee group is in financial trouble and is in restructuring mode so unlikely they will bring out some new shows so soon. No wonder they are slipping down the ladder of popularity.
most of the media companies are running in losses. Zee promoters are in financial trouble for the last couple of years. They could have wound up zee yuva and other subsidiaries like &channels. Also they would not have started new serials karbhari, devmanus etc. So it's just their foolishness or laziness which is dragging them to downhill.Originally posted by: kamalsh56

It is true that Zee group is in financial crunch but my gripe is about the lack of appreciation for arts and literature.
zee was back in profits last qtr. Coincidentally tomorrow is Q2 results of zee. Being a listed co, every thing is open on the net balance sheet, P& L etc.Originally posted by: NerdyMukta

Prajakta Gaikwad who was the lead in Soni Marathi serial " Aai Mazi Kalubai " is axed from the show and replaced with BBM2 fame Veena Jagtap.
This seems to be Veena's first serial since BBM2 ended last year.

Kay Karnar ? Marathi actors ( in fact all actors but in particular marathi actors) cha ata jast problem zalay. All the films which were ready and slated to release in April to June are all stuck up. Marathi films do not get good compensation from an OTT release and also govt grant which it gets is lost if they release directly first on OTT. So, they are all still waiting in hope that theaters will open soon. Ttyanule mostly navin films cha shooting pan slow asel because otherwise there will be crowding up of releases after theaters open.
Natak pan band ahet ani tyala tar ajun jast vel lagel chalu vayala.
So, all Marathi actors seem to be lapping up whatever they get on tv, Marathi or Hindi.
