I don't know what happened with the show in the last episode. I think the shooting was cut off and they couldn't film a proper full ending or the writers were just stupid. The ending was good up till last 10 minutes. Here's the rundown of the entire finale week:
Malika's about to be picked up by Asim to go back to his house and their rishta is saved. Malika, happy and joyous has shown change in her character and her mother is happy. Story takes final twists with Atif meeting Asim and telling him if Malika speaks against him in media, her modeling pictures will be leaked. He hands Asim the pictures; stressing him out so much that he gets into a car crash. When Asim is taken out his car by the surrounding people so he can go to the hospital, Nooryan gets in to take the keys because if he left the keys in, his car could be stolen. He finds an envelope dropped inside the car. He opens it and sees Malika's pictures. To save her respect he takes them home and hides it under his bed but then his wife sees them and feels Nooryan is cheating on her. Asim is not back yet after nearly a whole day and Malika and her family are worried. Malika's mom calls Asim's mom and finds out about pictures and is in shock. Malika is angry with herself because she did all this but didn't know it'll come back to haunt her this far. Aqeel gets mad without knowing what happened and as usual he blames Malika and Navera overhears all this and is not liking the tone of Aqeel. Aqeel tells her not to interfere in family matters. He tells her walima will happen no matter how much stress is in the house and Navera finds this selfish. At the walima, Zoha (Aqeel's ex-girlfriend) pops in and shows Navera the truth about Aqeel and how he manipulated her, and then shows Aqeel the photos of Malika. He gets very angry. Aqeel kills Atif director because he snatched the izzat of his sister and if he was to keep living, he could possibly have made Malika's life worst. As expected, Aqeel goes to jail for murder. Nooryan talks to his mom about how he loves his wife and he doesn't want her to leave him over this trivial photo issue and praises her. She overhears and decides to stay. Zoha talks to Munni (Manahil) about Waqas and Munni says she's interested mainly in studying and does not want to think about marriage. Then, Zoha goes to Waqas' mom and the mom talks about divorcing Aqeel. Zoha tells his mom about Waqas being interested in Munni and his mom clarifies saying this is all for revenge, don't trust him. Zoha is angered and slaps Waqas when she hears him say he doesn't want Waqas out for years. She tells him that what is this, all just to prove to me Aqeel is wrong for me you are doing evil deeds. Asim forgives Malika and they go home after Malika's mom tells her to not worry about her health, she'll be fine.
6 years pass.
Waqas gets out of jail and Navera is there to greet him. Waqas is in the driver's seat. He thinks Navera waited for him and still loves him but is mistaken. 6-7 minutes pass in the car ride by showing flashbacks as they pass by things of significance to Aqeel such as the gym. Then Navera drops Aqeel and says she is no longer with him, he's on his own. Aqeel, heartbroken, stands in a driveway.
My issue is why couldn't they go in depth. Instead of 12-13 minute rewind, add 10 or so minutes about how everyone else is doing after 6 years. They didn't even elaborate on Aqeel as much, could've shown what he did to survive. How are Malika-Asim. How is Malika/Asim's mother doing as she was in so much stress towards the end. Even Navera, Waqas tracks were left so incomplete. Ending really hurt the show because it felt rushed.
Overall it was a just time pass show that was a dissapointment. A lot of missed opportunities. Didn't show enough about Malika and maybe could've shown her get more successful and then she goes so far she learns her lesson while at peak of her career. Aqeel seemed to have no karma, even jail felt like less because he was so selfish, cunning, dirty and he had no karma before jail despite all he did. More focus should've been on Malika instead of Aqeel. Overall a 2.5/5 soap. Wouldn't recommend cause of rewinding, flashbacks, illogical story twists.

I watched the 2 last episodes. And the only thing which caught my interest is Aqeel's transformation after the 6 years leap. Farhan looks slim with facial hairs, and dark sircles under his eyes as if he was in jail for real.😃 I hope this drama becomes a turning point in his career, coz he can hardly get good roles. 😒
I too feel that this drama was cut. Waqas and Munni track was about to start, but suddenly they had to end this drama, so it remained unfinished.
Adeel Chaudhry and Kinza Hashmi seem bored in the hospital scenes. 😆 I didn't watch this drama from the beginning to comment on their acting. I just didn't feel for their characters in the end. Usama Khan did good job as Noreen.

Yes. Aqeel had a good transformation.. it shows he wanted to make it look realistic. I like Farhan, hoping he gets more shows soon. He does stay in London for majority of the year so maybe that's why he does less dramas 🤓.
I think it was. As on his story, he said Covid was on the peak but they shot this scene before production for dramas stopped. Maybe GEO felt the show was not worth finishing.. but I wonder why. Even Tamanna had a cut off ending too. I am getting annoyed of 9PM dramas from GEO because they keep going incomplete 😆.
They did. I agree. The acting was decent for both of them but I feel like Adeel took this show because he thought this would be a hit like Munafiq.. but it was just average in TRPs. Usama Khan is a good actor. I hope he gets more projects. He already has Chalawa on HUM and Mere Apne on ARY.. which shows he is getting notice.
