They changed it because of the controversy surrounding the name. People are offended that they are ridiculing the godddess hence they dropped bomb citing respecting public sentiments.

Throughout my life, I've seen packets of laxmi bomb being burst while celebrating Diwali. Pata nahin tab kahaan yeh sab offence gayab ho jaata tha?

Ye zyada ho gya, this wasn't even offensive. These people are unnecessarily bowing down to random fringe groups and giving them prominence.

I like the new title. It sounds quirky and funny now going with the genre of the film.

But unfortunately it doesn't even matter now. The film would have been a huge hit had it released in theaters. I am loving the trailers and songs.
