So true.....lol and that just proves the point ki progressive soch doesn't come from clothes or lifestyle....woh sab insaan ke andar hota hai that has to evolve beyond prejudice.

This is probably why Krishna is such a progressive character in the epics....the way he explains things and pushes the boundaries of the prejudice within which most of society operates....that is what makes his philosophies so interesting to watch....like even with Radha, despite the whole dragged out baadhaa/vikaar stuff, they still tried to show at many points that he treated Radha as an equal and never wanted her to lose her identity at the cost of being in love. This is as relevant a concept today as it was in the past.....whether it is in marriage or whether it's just in a relationship - most women still struggle with holding on to their identity....many times it gets sacrificed in the flow of emotion. So I liked that the show raised these points.....haan many ppl complained ki why was he being made the messenger and why weren't the women speaking for themselves....lol but again the world of this story is all about Krishna being the one who mostly dispenses the gyaan. Radha is pitched more as this serene Goddess of love who mainly dispenses kindness and love.

Even that other Luv Kush show that they did on Colors started off well in tackling that angle of Ram-Sita being seperated because of society ki chhoti soch....so that way atleast the writers attempt to address complex topics that are just as relevant today even if they are presented through a mythological lens.

Oh I didn't know this guy did reprise versions of the "Tum Prem Ho" song from RK.....there is a lovely serenity in this version :)....and a beautiful new chorus bit in the end!

Baaki I forwarded the last entire bit with bauji in jail mehhhh.

The song and the chants are serene and soulful. Its just pure bliss listening to it. Visuals elevates the song so much more.

The visuals❤️❤️❤️ This just reminds me what made me so interested in watching the show. The absolute calendar art type of visuals for RK and gopis, its simply breathtaking. The costumes, song, music hits the right chord:)) Its just like art takes life, they really started on a grand scale. The bit where Radhas chunri is flowing with the red and blue is so so beautiful. Now I want to watch those initial episodes just for the perfection it had in its grandeur. ❤️The costumes were so vibrant, especially Krishnas mugats and paaghs☺️,( that sucked me right in😆) . Also Radhas house was so beautiful and colorful.

Haina? I'm pleasantly surprised that they are still releasing reprise versions of this song....this song was a big reason that drew me in from the initial epis.....that first scene when Krishna pauses everything in the marketplace and moves towards Radha to catch his first glimpse of her....that was the moment I fell in love with the song.

And these new chants....such lovely lyrics weaving in all the various names for Radha and Krishna....and there's a lovely flute bit at the end of the third video too....dunno if you noticed it......but I loved it....bahut serene feel hai and worth listening to on repeat.

Haha the show is deffo worth revisiting because of the way they've brought art to life with their visuals and execution.....I recently revisited the Govardhan Leela epi and wahaan bhi they did it so beautifully.....you could tell they were drawing inspiration from the paintings/calendar art cuz Sumedh always does these really graceful postures of Krishna in the scenes and it gives the feel of a painting come to life.....even as he's holding the mountain up with his pinky finger, his other hand is in this elegant posture on the side like it's a dance pose almost😆

Oh btw have you watched the Luv Kush show on Colors at all that was also done by this PH? Wahaan bhi initial epis mein they put in a lot of effort with costumes, direction and music.

They never showed her putting that in the mix but she was mixing random jo bhi tha ke gaoon main usne dekha hai aise hi lep Banta hai so she added some dear cheeni, adrak, tel and all the garam masala and made a puree🤣 isko khud nahi pata tha kya banana hai kaise bas Dr sahib ko dikhana tha ke desi totkas over bideshi ilaj and when he said jalega Don't toh she even asked her brother ke kya sach main jalega🤣 Phir jala but she went whatever ointment toh phir bhi nahi lagani and went🤣 itni badi toh chot thi bhi nahi joke liye Dr sahib peeche peeche aaye follow karte

The part where he emphasized about the importance of women not loosing their identity in love was done so nicely. Infact the more we discuss , the more I realize how extensively they have tackled all these important issues!! Also they have more or less kept it subtle and it doesn’t come of as preachy mostly because of the way message is delivered.

Again as you said, this story is mainly from Krishnas perspective so everything is tilted towards his favor. Radha is shown more like a disciple to him, so she looks towards him for guidance at every step.

That show did a good job of showing Sita-Ram equation. Watching and reading different stuff makes you realize how the same thing can be viewed and interpreted differently by different people. I loved their version of Sita-Ram:)

They mainly showed Sita took the decision to change the soch of the people. She wanted that people change their attitude towards women , but alas even after all that sacrifice they were not able to change peoples thinking.
