I really try to make the house as similar as I can to before but nothing can beat joint families yaar.

Even during holidays and festivals, due to some family problem, my youngest uncle decides not to come and my aunt is usually too busy too be able to make it having to take care of her kids.

Thankfully, we created some really good friends here so we don’t feel as lonely during holi and stuff.

Like the closest I can get to romantic scenes is when my hair gets stuck on those clothes from the stores, not some guys shirt buttons 😭

Yeah, when you continuously end up doing good in school, parents have higher expectations.

I used to be good in school till a certain grade, of course not as bright as shaheen but good enough. Uske baad, I couldn’t understand anything the teachers taught me. I had to teach myself things due to that but my parents were definitely disappointed.
