The main issue for me was also the actors playing wives of Krishna did not appeal to me and the book I read had depicted this phase beautifully. So in my mind I was comparing with that
It was as you said mainly shown as telepathically or them meeting but not in actual physical form. But you cannot compare a book to a TV show as both have their own limitations and advantages.
The makers are showing their own interpretation, so technically we cannot say its right or wrong as Radha was not mentioned at all in earlier texts:)
Yes, technically the makers are within their rights to interpret as it works for their concept.....and the concept in itself restricts where they can take the story na. This is not a story about Krishna only....this is a story whose basic premise is that Radha-Krishna's love is supreme and beyond time/space etc.....so in that frame, it becomes harder to depict his relationship with his wives while still maintaining Radha being his supreme lover. Even writing something like that would be hard, let alone executing it in TV form😆. On one hand, so many stories depict Krishna as loving freely and having many lovers....on other hand, there is the legend of Radha in his life as his greatest love....so they can't really do it both ways na. If he shares the same relationship with his wives as he does with Radha, how do you distinguish it for the purpose of this story/concept? Most shows gloss over it conveniently by never letting these two phases of his life intersect....but this show has gone down that difficult route😆.
I think that is why they didn't really get into depth with casting the actresses playing Krishna's wives....since they are meant to play second fiddle to Radha in this story by default.
I browsed the forum and wahaan this seems to be the main cause of resentment...ki why has Radha been glorified at the cost of the other wives who are also supposed to be incarnations of Laxmi or something😆....but all this amuses me....what were people expecting in a show named Radha-Krishna? Why won't Radha be kept at the forefront? If you dilute her presence, how do you prove your narrative that Radha was the life force for Krishna and invoking her name became synonymous with Moksha?
Thats actually true, no matter how you try to execute it or show your interpretation in a very beautiful way, at some level it is difficult to digest, especially if we are watching it from todays lens. Also as you said no matter how you execute, showing so many wives and his relationship in detail with them would make it awkward and funny to watch
So considering all things they have managed well and I guess thats why we are still able to watch by compartmentalizing

LOL I think the problem is also compounded in other ways....yes, one is the issue of multiple wives which as it is gets awkward to watch from lens of today's times, then there is the other complication about adjusting an "undefined" relationship alongside that of the wives who got "legitimacy" from society. Radha is not just a typical lover....she is transcendent in Krishna's life...so how do you define it in today's time? We are all used to mortal definitions and interpretations....but how do you go about trying to adjust RK's celestial existence within the frame of mankind?
I see this happening in the forum also.....people are offended ki Radha ko kyun dikhaa diya Dwarka mein, that makes her look like a "mistress" in front of his wives...yeh EMA hai blah blah....lol but doesn't that defeat the whole concept? Isn't Krishna's whole point that you cannot define his relationship with Radha? So who is mankind to judge?😆....these are celestial beings beyond the definitions of mankind.
The book ends with their Golokaagman. It describes in detail, how they leave their body and meet at one place for their journey together to Golok.
The most interesting part is when Radhaji tells Uddhav about a small spat she had with Krishna during one of their argumentsKrishna says whats the big deal, we stayed and enjoyed 10 years with each other and for the rest you knew that I am alive and well, so you have that consolation. So many widows and other women experience such physical distance for the entire life. This kind of sarcasm hurts her and she gets angry and again takes a promise that in the Kaliyug her avatar will take place without him, in a desert as opposed to this fertile land. Spiritually she will be completely devoted to him but physically she will be married to other. In this avatar she never set foot outside the Vraj bhoomi but in the other one she will move from one village to other singing his bhakti songs and then will leave her body in his Karmabhoomi Dwarka!
Oh wait....are you saying there is some story beyond Golok also?😲😆.....Who is Uddhav? And yeh Kaliyug wala curse kab hoga? And this description of Sanyasini Radha sounds a lot like Meera😆....
Waise I saw some pics of the upcoming jismein Radha was in sanyasini type clothes....lol I don't know if that is before or after the end of Dwarka.....looks like writers will find some other fanfiction😆
PS: Hellaro is not available with subtitles on any site, I could only find it on MX Player without subtitle:(
Oh too bad :(....chalo koi nahin I'll keep searching too.

Makers have not shown anything to that effect, kuchh bhi. It is just very difficult to show the transcendental form of love on TV and the main purpose of their avatar was to spread the message of love. How much more difficult is it then to show that deep kind of love between two people who got married to different people. Yet theirs is the loves story that is been revered and worshipped even today?
