Btw budget issues and the fact that we've already figured CVs don't take seriously Kalyani as a career/working-woman, I don't waste my energy on this. I guess they probably don't want to make her look boring by dressing her up in plain saaris, which makes sense to me... jab CVS ko Kalyani ko as an IAS dikhane mein ya uske career mein interest hi nahi hain, then why waste time/money/energy for an appropriate wardrobe for her workplace?

Considering how much they love butchering her character anyway, she'll be back to playing mostly housewife and mommy and solving AN issues once Moksh and Anusar's kid are found.

This was done just so there would be some scope of interaction at work for KalMa. Any other profession would be hard. I always thought they would make Kalyani a lawyer so KalMa could interact. But they made Anu a lawyer once again so that AnuSar can interact. I guess it would be odd if mother-daughter had the same profession, so they made Kalyani a high-ranking government official.
