i don't think there's anything wrong with what he said, but it seems unnecessary and came out of nowhere. up until recently, rahul and jaan were friends and rahul didn't seem to have any problems of the sort. the day after he's told that he's barely being seen on tv, he pulls out this card. i don't think it's a coincidence. it's a hot topic right now and he's going to advantage of that to gain public support, or at least be "controversial" so he gets more screentime

BB mai, tu BB ke points bol. It's not like there is any dearth of negative points regarding Jaan's conduct on the show.

When Rahul a co singer brings this nepotism waala point 'BB ke andar', it reflects badly on him and could be construed as insecurity. Bhale hi Jaan nepotism ki badolat iss show mai tikaa ho yaa nahi.

Now I don't know if this was a strategic move by him, considering the current sentiment of public regarding nepotism, or if he genuinely feels so.

My personal opinion, it could be avoided. Tu apna kaam acche se kar and khel. Joh dikhna hai, woh sab ko dikhega.

i'm leaning towards it being a strategic move, but we'll have to see if it'll play out in his favor or against him. he was friends with jaan up until now and didn't seem to have any problems of the sort, but the day after he's told that he's not being seen on tv, he brings up a hot polarizing issue that's currently relevant in the industry. i can't speak to whether he considered the possible consequences or thought that far, but he may have thought that it's controversial enough to earn him some screentime, and he's not wrong about that as we might see tomorrow
