Read your replies again and mine, you made the blanket statements about how and what Navratri is, your religion and all. I was precisely against blanket statements about what Navratri is and how is it celebrated and why it is preposterous to get offended if someone says naughty Navratri. I said you cannot stop someone from celebrating it a certain way. Read properly before replying.

You can utter offensive stuff, human civilization and modern science is built upon uttering so called offensive about faiths and beliefs. Humans can get and have been offended at truth, scientific theories and many other things. Centuries ago saying Earth is not the center of the universe was offensive and people still dared to say it. So yeah saying offensive stuff is part and parcel of human progress because what constitutes as offensive has no standard. Sex is not offensive, it maybe for you but for me it is not.

Well I don't care what offends you or not. My arguments/reasoning has nothing to do with it, your faith does not exist as fact for me and certainly doesn't deserve any respect just because it is your faith or anyone else's faith. it doesn't matter to me if you respect my faith or not. Faith is not a fact/truth for me, it is subject to criticism/scrutiny and is subject to humor like most other things on this planet. Yeah you can argue what purpose drawing nudes serves, maybe nothing for sure and it is just a low blow probably. He could do better for sure.

People have the right to offend, but they also have the right to be offended, freedom of speech works both ways, you can't tell a religious person how they should react to your offence, as long as they're not breaking the law.

Yup I know it is not exclusive, that is why I used subset. A whole set is also a subset.

Sure being offended is a right and it is kind of natural, but ganging up on someone for posting something offensive to someones' faith will be criticized by me. That is what I intended to do.
