Which is your most awaited Summer Bollywood release?
Anish is a hard driving man who doesn't believe in emotions. Naksh will never get to do what he wants unless he rebels. Arnav has already taken the path of rebellion, much to Anish's dislike. What does Arnav blame him for?
As the story is moving forward we realize both fathers share the same rigid orthodox views and customs. In fact Naksh’s father has already planned kushi’s itenary has listed all the activities that will keep her occupied at home .He feels she should manage and beautify their home and also give an heir to family as soon as possible so that his son can concentrate on his business and not on his wife But from the father son conversation it looks like Naksh is blackmailed by his father to toe the family traditions.
Kushi is right in her way if she can’t do things what she likes she’ll lose her identity. Hence she wanted a meet with her prospective groom. Looks like kushi will take help from Arnav to run away rather than get married to him.
All in all exciting chapter ahead.

Your teenage boys' comment is the highlight.
'Khushi will brighten the place... What is she? A lamp?'👏
Say Hi to your boys.
Back to the story. I judged Naksh to early. So, he tried his best, but was emotionally blackmailed. For Anish there is no difference between decorations and babies. 😲
Naksh is trying to strike a balance between business, marriage, his father, Khushi's happiness and his cousin Arnav. It is going to be hard.
If Khushi runs away from the wedding and takes Aranv's help it will be early Diwali, early new year's fireworks and early 4th of July fireworks combined together.
We are inching towards the D day and totally enjoying reading it.
Cheers......
The boys were incredibly pleased to be credited for the joke. 😆
Naksh is indeed stuck in a hard place, I don't envy that guy, and I love what you said about the Diwali, new years and 4th of July. It would sure be heck of an explosion. I'm also happy to know that you have liked reading the story so far.
Naksh’s father is a typical orthodox man who believes a girl’s place is only inside the house n giving birth to children n that’s it nothing more n he also has a bitter relationship with his nephew n doesn’t want to clear the misunderstanding between them.
Spot on about Naksh's dad. His thinking also seems to be similar to Khushi's dad.
Your teenagers have a droll sense of humour 😆
Anish’s ‘’Whatever it takes” doesn’t bode well for Khushi’s dreams and aspirations, does it?!
They are little jokers indeed haha.
Whatever it takes doesn't bode well at all.
Looks like naksh is being forced by his father to not give khushi a chance in pursuing her hobby...his intimidation, threats and blackmail is overwhelming naksh at this point...
Loved this chapter but loved the side note about your son's comments more....
They truly have a great sense of humor and a way with comparisons 😀
Hahaha, and they are also my critics, providing me with unsolicited comments especially when I tell them to not look at my laptop screen.

You are correct about Anish and Naksh. Arnav, according to Anish, blames him for the tragedy.

You observed correctly. Little matters to Anish except for his company and Naksh.
The future for Khushi doesn't look so bright. The Maliks have certain expectations of her and all of it are opposite of what she actually wants right now. I am enjoying your comments. I hope you keep liking the story as we move forward.
Why do anybody have to forget their hobbies? Can't they manage both, the house/work/business and sing or dance or paint or whatever they want? I did not get Garima's logic. If she loved singing, I thought she would understand Khushi better.
They are having Haldi. It is so sad, Khushi's mind is not on Haldi at all. She was still thinking how to fulfil her dreams. Good girl! Poor thing she is not refusing to marry or not have kids. Just she wants to sing on the radio. If Payal planned and had an year long engagement and married Aakash, she surely will help Khushi.
Even I want to know why Arnav said what he said to Khushi.
Is it related the past? Or Anjali or something else? He surely wants something in return.
Can't wait to know.
Nice update.
Cheers.....
