Past Vansh vs Present Vansh

Hello People 😊

This is my first post on IIMJ 2 forum. It will be a long post but please bear my ranting. I am a silent reader of this forum and the sole reason I am writing here is because the way cv's are shaping " Vansh's Character".

I am not watching iimj2 since last week, somehow I lost interest because there was no riansh. I was hoping once Vansh comes back I will start watching it again, but nowadays after reading present posts I don't even feel like doing that.

So what I think is cv's are utterly confused as to how they should show Vansh's Character. Maybe cv's are trying to give audience what they want and in that his character is getting all wasted.

When we wanted riansh romance they did the overload there, when people started questioning how can Vansh fall in love so soon and he should be shrewd cv's did a complete 360 degree turn on his character and made him Ruthless, Ignorant fool...

Now what I think is everything was going okay till Ishani's wedding. I know some people have doubts that how can he fall in love so soon? But cv's could have built the track little differently, like he started falling in love but his realisation could have been slow.

I started watching this show because it seemed promising. For once Main male lead did not trust anyone blindly, he was vigilant. He was mixture of good to his people but worst for his enemies kind of combination.

Current Vansh is the less said the better 👎🏼.

Now how I actually wanted to see Vansh was something like,

1. Someone who is attracted and intrigued with Riddhima.

2. Someone who's well aware that she is a spy but also an emotional fool.

3. Someone who already knows that a person from his family is culprit and wants to punish them.

4. Someone who is well aware that aside from dadi and siya nobody gives a damn about him but he is okay with it because at the end of the day he is the king.

5. Someone who married Riddhima because he really liked her attitude, devotion and loyalty.

6. Someone who may have started falling for Riddhima know that she is misguided but he also wants to teach her a lesson that you can't trust any tom,dick and harry.

7. Someone who loves and is possessive about Riddhima, he will not let her go anywhere whatever may be the case.

Now even though this post was solely dedicated for Vansh, I would like to write something about Riddhima as well.

Overall I like her character, she is naive, innocent and has a pure heart. She is scared of her husband who freaks her out quite oftenly, but still manages to stand up to him. I am okay with that as well because it brings out chemistry between them, opposite attract.

What I would like to see her do is maybe care less about what Vansh and Kabir are saying and answering back Ishani, she should not take insults from anyone like that, she is well educated person and should give it for tat specially to Ishani and Aryan. Common dude you are a doctor for God sake, use a little brain here, I would like to see her keep her own train of thought. Why is she doing it? For whom is she doing this? Is it really worth it?

So I have come to an end of the topic. Sorry for the long post(and use of too many someone's) but I really needed to say it. I won't be watching this show until and unless I get old Riansh and specifically old Vansh back, will keep reading forum post so if anything good happens I can watch the show.

Your imagination vansh and mine meets same. I started watching this show for that kind of Vansh.

I expected that Vansh from the scene when he presented her roses after engagement , she lectured him about love, the way he was looking and understanding her He was like I will teach you everything don’t worry sweetheart . But ITV what we expect

Exactly Much needed post 👏 love Riansh but need suspense story moves in right direction with no character assassination.

This post we all needed it I totally agree with you 100 percent this is what is missing this is what I was looking for in the show balance! 👏

Exactly, old Vansh was heading towards this role itself. When he forced her to get married to him that he did say something like " ishq ki nafrat ki, jalan ki had par hogi ab". On wedding night he told her "there is no place for 3rd person between us". During Sunny fiasco he asked Riddhima that,"she can trust anyone but him?". Even during the D'Souza death even though he was ignoring that my gut feeling was telling me he and angre are doing something.

Where is that Vansh???

Thanks. I started watching this show because of old Vansh and Riddhima, otherwise considering the IIMJ 1 story,I would have ever dared to watch this show.
