Just because a few bad apples which are there in every religion, calling the entire community intolerant? Wah!

EDIT: That said, I won’t ever support nutjobs like Kangana who are out there to provoke the religious sentiments of the majority and fulfill their own nefarious agendas. And I am hoping this is true for the majority of the Indians, regardless of their religion, that we don’t support religious provocations and use our own brains and make our own decisions.

Everything you said !!

In majority of homes the traditions followed after marriage are as per the groom's family. People having problems with the ad and feeling proud for taking it down should try doing the same for all itv dramas if their real concern is the life of girl after her wedding

It depends on whose parents are nearby...here it was Muslim parents maybe so the house might have had more of a Muslim orientation..big deal...

The important thing is bahu became beti...how many do that?

As to women's rights goes I think one might want to know what Kangu thought of Zarina wahab's rights... I agree that the main culprit was Aditya Pancholi..but accessory toh Kangu rani hi thi...Zarina wahab was a doormat but that isn't even a moral crime...

I remember one of my friend wanted baby shower but her in laws did not allowed it. In her parents home, bridal shower is celebrated like a wedding.

Terrible ad, completely unrealistic, the family appears to be conservative, all the women are wearing hijabs, and they've accepted a Hindu daughter in law without her converting to Islam? 😆.. Yeh, only in lala land, and on top of that, they're holding Hindu rituals inside their house, committing the biggest sin in Islam. 😆 C samajh kar rakha hai kya. 😆

Meanwhile in the real world, Hindu men get murdered for marrying/dating Muslim girls.

Does this real world only include religious extremist zealots?

also careful your Hinduphobia is showing

Hinduism being the oldest religion is a myth. It was brought by Aryans to India who were OUTSIDERS. Sorry to burst your bubble.

And you can't justify the intolerance of present Hindus by opening History books. If your ancestors were tolerant, then you better learn from them.

Yeah sure, I become every religion phobic according to their thekedaars whenever I criticize a particular religion.

Allowed is permissible in the context of the arrival of Parsi refugees..they were let in by a Hindu king... the parsis retained their religious identity even after centuries..

That is the beauty of India..salad bowl and not melting pot. Is the Ajmer dargah of Muslims alone? Nope Hindus go there with reverence... same with old churches which are said to have divine powers.... don't Sikhs behave with amity..don't Muslims involve in philanthropy ..they have built charitable hospitals in my hometown at least..what about Premji , does he or any other business czar sit and check religion of every employee... sometimes I feel that Premji is doing too much philanthropy.. there is still hope for the nation as cyberspace doesn't reflect the ground reality..

It's a cute ad, but something that would never happen IRL in India. A normal middle class family, be it Hindu/Muslim/Sikh/Christian celebrating a particular custom as per the traditions of their other religion wali bahu😆
