Times Now kicked out Arnab and he was really popular then too. Even in those days, it was because of BW and the shit he was stirring against them. Times Now has precedent for doing this. Navika and Rahul won't survive for long.

Arnab owns Republic. He has 85% stake which is why he has a lot at stake here and hence can be considered more honest/biased than the others. ( depending on which side you are on). So he can’t technically sack himself.

Collective backlash will come only with a revolution...nothing short of it

Every news channel has a clientele...tabloids behave like tabloids, don't expect the quality of broadsheet from them... political parties have their pet newspapers( both national and regional) which peddle fake news..when caught they issue correction in fine print in some obscure part of the newspaper. Shiv Sena has saamna and it is in publication from a long time..no one has stopped it even if a lot felt it was toxic. Don't people read it? Others ignore.

What one calls toxic is highly subjective. ..a certain section of politicians appeal to foreign nations, especially China to intervene in Indian affairs..so what is to be done with them? Is censoring right? Won't it be problematic? The fact is everyone spews venom..it is upto the public to act on them...

When people can vote to select the government, they can very well select the news to watch.

I find it interesting that srk and aamir are being made the faces of this when there are a whole bunch of non partisan names involved, including Ajay "Zubaan Kesari" Devgan himself. This is a collective call that Bollywood has taken- why are only the Khans being highlighted? Because it suits the "leftist cabal" narrative? Pathetic weaselly reply by Rahul Shivshankar.

We all knew this would happen. I was expecting SRK and Salman to be the targets but they've picked Aamir in Salman's place. Interesting. Akshay and Ajay are bhakts so they will be protected always even when they join the BW lawsuit. And even the anchors know those two are not that important although they've been trying to do propaganda for them for years now. 🤣

no, it’s because the khana are considered as the face /leaders of Bollywood irrespective of their BO performance. No matter what, post the 90s, the khans are synonymous with Bollywood.
They gained from it all this while, now on the receiving end.

Even others like Akshay & Ajay are being targeted, but they are surely not the first names to come to mind when one says Bollywood, don’t you think!
