I should never have forgotten it, no matter how cute Season 2 was.

The current track made me remember all that. Rudraksh Khurana. This guy is full of red flags. How DARE he insult her that way and use the choicest of words? How DARE he pull her hair? I've said this before and I'm saying it again. An Arnav Singh Raizada template of a hero with physical manhandling been portrayed as "angsty love" is NOT COOL.

There were literally so many other ways they could've executed this misunderstanding track but nope. The same ghisa-pita nonsense. This is setting an extremely bad example and is normalising abusive behaviour. When I was younger, I too thought that this ASR model of love is SO CUTE and I thought it's okay but it's not. If there are any women and girls here who think this is okay, please remember it's not okay.

There is no redemption for Rudrakash. There can't be.

Couldn't agree with you more!

This ghisa pita abuse paraded in the form of "angry young man" facade is done in almost every ITV and its quite a sad reflection of our society that its still being shown in 2020 because it gets the TRPs.

Im good with him feeling guilty and moving forward. Honestly dont care for anyone being "redeemed"...

No one is perfect in real life and tv shows. Its how we grow and evollve and frankly redeeming characters is based on wanting to attain perfection or an ideal which is pretty unrealistic as is.

Showing anything on tv is just as impressionable as manhandling. I dont diagree with you at all. I do think its mot something shows should be portraying However. At the end of the day its a show.

People watch western and eastern shows and movies with heads exploding, shootings, killings, murders, rapes, abuse... They show those in movies too just as they do on tv. None of that is good either. Its considered creative liberty. 50 shades of grey was popular all over the world and not everyone agrees with sadism and dominance.

all things we see from movies tv to music are impressionable. We cant always live to hold television or media to do the moral policing of society. We have to be responsible for our own actions and actual change comes from people themselves willing to make change in society.

Tv is a form of escape many times and yes as unrealistic and toxic as things that are shown are, its also just as realistic for girls to choose to be in relationships with toxic men or forgiving those we love.. not everyone can do it or should do it but this stuff does happen. Its how we choose to view it.

I remember with the transgender track i got sooooo annoyed because of how the writers portrayed that and still am. Do i get when things are shown negatively in an already fragile society thay undermines or shrinks the gravity of a serious concern. And i made the mistake at that time saying how can the show this.. the way they do . But i realized its how i chose to view that track myself. Its not ok n i know it.. not everyone does but thats the reality of society and i cant expect tv to teach people lessons. We have to take what we see n have those conversations ourselves.

All this being said, COULD things be shown better? 100p. I dont disagree. I dont think manhandling is not necessary to tell good stories. Revenge tracks can be done without physical involvement.. that being said would we be saying the same if it was emotional abuse? Would we be just as hellbent on wanting go redeem characters if it was emotional torture?

(Ps. Do i personally mind ithese tracks?. no. Consider me a sadist. I like my romantic storylines with some manhandling involved. Shows some intensity. So i am biased there...my rule is.. unless the guy actually beats her, or sexually assaults her i tend to let go of the pulling wrist twists and occasional slaps here and there. There are worse things he can do )

One of the top shows is portraying an EMA, it doesn’t mean everyone is going to go round having extra-marital affairs because of the show.exactly something valid..on a side she says she dont like yuvaraj on other side she is hiding the fact that he murdered rajeev this character is so confusing..and her appa also why is he protecting him..i doubt he was judge

What Rudra is doing is wrong, not disagreeing there but there have been so many shows where the ML has done far worse tbh. At least in Rudra’s case he thinks Preesha killed Rajeev. If Preesha was a man, Rudra would’ve killed him and nobody would’ve flinched. In HIS eyes, Preesha has done so many wrong things. How would we react if someone killed our sibling? completely agreed ..

Preesha is only hiding half truth of Yuvraj doing the accident. Does she know that Yuvraj intentionally and deliberately murdered Rajeev for acquiring trust fund money using Saransh?

Preesha only knows half truth of Rajeev's accident. And her reason for hiding it is valid. She was married by Rudra for revenge and thats why she thinks telling him about Mahima truth or Rajeev's murder truth Rudra wont believe her.

She has already told Rudra once that she didnt kill rajeev and didnt have affair with him but he still did not believe her.

And why is Rudraksh hiding from Preesha that he bribed Yuvraj 12 crores for her death sentence?

Why is Rudra hiding from his own family that Saransh is Rajeev's son and waaris of khurana family?

I totally agree with you! But this at the end of the day is fiction. Fans ship two people who look good together. That's why Arshi are one of the most popular jodis even today. Dont take these TV shows too seriously, otherwise they're bound to affect your mental health

ITV shows suck because they often tend to butcher the ML just to create sympathy for FL. For some sick reason, people love watching bichaari abla naris. Going by the track record of the writer of this show, I'd say get used to it. The only thing that surprises me, is that Sonali Jaffar showed her true colours quite early in this show. LOL

Aren't you expecting too much from a fictional character that too a rockstar! 😆

It's wasn't that he was some sort of feminist who all of a sudden has turned his back from women 😆

Ru was an egoistic lead from the beginning yet he does respect women n i think that's enough for all the women to accept him 😆

I am against manhandling in real and reel life. But unfortunately its a normal thing on ITV. Most of the heroes do that and surprisingly such male leads are more famous and loved by Audience.

See everyone deserves second chance as no one is perfect. Everyone has his/her own flaws. In real life also humans do redeem. We humans also regret sometimes. We make mistakes but still our loved ones stay with us bcoz its their choice. Similarly these characters are not perfect. They have flaws. Ru has flaws but Pree has no problem with his flaws bcoz she loves her aur hum jab kisi sy pyar karty heina tu sirf uski qualities dekhty hein usky flaws ko ignore kar dety hein.
