Well, I think this targeting of Arnab will boomerang. It's TRP was already going low after the long drawn SSR case but by targeting Arnab (and with all other news channels on the other side) IMHO it is going to boost his channel further. People always support an underdog. If the police had kept quiet for a few more weeks, perhaps, Republic would have lost it's viewers slowly.

But I thought you had earlier said that TRP's cannot be managed. I have been saying this for quite some time (you can refer to my many posts on this topic on BARC). Wonder why the police decided to bust this issue only when it started hurting them?

News मध्ये असा पण सांगत आहेत की CBI ने जो अहवाल दिला आहे (ABOUT AAIMS चा रिपोर्ट) तो फायनल नाहीये, त्याच्यासाठी अजून एक दुसरी टीम येणार आहे.

काय चाललंय हे?

म्हणजे CBI ला हीच काम आहेत का?

तसाच मुंबई पोलीस ला पण हीच काम आहेत का की या चॅनेल चा TRP खोटा होता किंवा वाढवलेला होता वगैरे हे सांगण्याची??

मागे एकदा एका इलेकशन CAMPAIGN मध्ये एक घोषणा होती.... कुठे नेवून ठेवलाय.....

तसाच झालाय सध्या...

खरंच कुठे नेवून ठेवलाय देश आपला या लोकांनी?

True, this channel kept on defaming Rhea just to gain so called TRP which also does not seem real now. If you read the court order yesterday to grant bail to Rhea, the court has passed strictures against NCB for calling Rhea as part of drung cartel without any evidence at all. Now, if CBI also gives clean chit to Rhea in Sushant case ( looks like most likely as no evidence of her involvement is found so far ) will these channels applogise for defaming her ? I hope someone files and wins a defmation case against these channels soon.

While everyone is talking about only Rhea(she has not been cleared of the charges, only released on stringent bond conditions), the same court has held that there is enough evidence that brother Shovik was a part of the drug racket. He has not been given bail.

I have decided to watch Republic because they are being openly targeted. And I am with the underdog.

Just watched that the written Complaint is against India Today! and Paramveer Singh says it is against Republic! Even if it is against Republic, a Police Chief holding a press conference just to talk about a "manipulation" of TRP when this has been going on for AGES.

My gut feeling is that this is going to boomerang badly on the Maharashtra establishment.

Republic is saying so. Let's see Mumbai police version. Republic is being targeted because it targeted Maharashtra govt earlier. Republic is not some lame victim which is being targetted. Uddhav Thakre na ekeri navane ullekh karne was not good at all. If nothing at least the post of CM is to be respected.
