Also let’s keep in mind that his brother is the only person who continuously loved him and gave him aide during his abusive childhood. If I found out someone killed my brother I would do much worse things and I wouldn’t be sorry for doing any of those things. 😊

Yaa I think I get your point. But then idk, somewhere it really bothers me about this manhandling thing especially when they showed such development. I mean, holding her forcibly and all are still okay, but choking and all seemed a bit too much to me. But then you also have a point, it's okay, agreeing- disagreeing to opinions is a part. I think the only thing we can do right now is wait and watch how the writers handle and take the characters hereafter. This track has a lot of potential, let's see how it turns out to be.

I don’t condone such scenes at all & I know they’ve been added for trp sake much to our annoyance.

Having said that, if Preesha was a guy and Rudra found out he had killed his brother...you’d expect him to beat him up black & blue. Then it wouldn’t be manhandling. It would be a brother trying to avenge his brothers murder. We know Preesha is innocent but Rudra has been kept in the dark so many times. When he tried to choke Rahul, did anyone object? No, because Rahul is a guy and he’s the villain.

Would you not want to harm the person who has betrayed you to that extent? Male or female?

Personally, I would have been completely against Rudra’s actions if all she did was betray him by siding with Yuvraj but here she has also murdered his brother. All that betrayal is bound to get anyone irked. I am not saying manhandling is ok but at the same time I understand his actions. There are other ML who manhandle FL for absolutely no reason in the name of “angry young man” image. However, here it’s not like that. Only when Rudraksh found out that Preesha murdered his brother did he I guess “man handle” her. Even then he could have done much worse IMO. I know for a fact if I found out someone killed my brother they would be dead right now and trust me I wouldn’t have just choked them. I would have gone much beyond that. 🤣

Exactly! Rudra doesn’t just “manhandle” for no reason like most of the ML. He has his reasons and I wouldn’t even call this man handling. If Preesha was a man then we would have justified his actions but in this case we aren’t cause she is a woman and we know she is innocent.

That’s exactly what I said to someone. If I found out who killed a loved one of mine, what would be my reaction? I’d frikkin want to kill them! Man or woman! Doesn’t matter.

Here, Rudra fell so hard for Preesha that he became convinced she couldn’t do such a thing. Then everything flipped and he’s got the wrong impression of her...how do we expect him to react? If Preesha was a guy, s/he would be DEAD!

Ditto. Again we aren’t saying man-handling is ok. But I think we are undermining the things Rudra has gone thought or at least he thinks he has gone through because of Preesha. First, murder of his brother. Second, he fell in love with her and finds out she was cheating on him with Yuvraj. Third, she ruined his career and everything big time. If the murderer of your loved one was doing all this then man or woman all of us would want to kill this person in our own hands. Period. We wouldn’t even be thinking about what comes out of our mouths when yelling at the person or thinking about our actions. We would want the person dead.

And I cannot justify his actions as he being vulnerable or by being empathic. YHC writers have given us so much good content in terms of writing, I wish they would have kept Rudra's character development intact. Also, people calling this act as just a "flaw" of the character not understanding the severity of the issue makes me sad. But I guess, at the end it's all about TRP, and I am sure a lot of people normalise this, so it is very common to show these kinda behaviour in ITV. Anyway, I hope the redemption track is shown convincingly. Looking forward to the upcoming episodes!

Yes, ITV is full of such abusive behaviour from ML towards FL. It sends a very wrong message out.

They should have restricted it to ydays epi. TBH I just skimmed today's scenes.

And that's why a redemption track is needed and should be there.

Actually first of all, they did all of this for TRP, so its quite obvious how it is. Secondly, its good to see, we "the fans" making a point out on this because dialogues are somehow not easy to listen and for some 'this is OTT'. And lastly at the end, Rudra is a jealous hubby, so if we cut out today's episode blast from Rudra, I think I can easily accept the tomorrow one. Remember, Rudra is not always the softer person from start. One more thing, I often see these kind of things lead to deep down level of character butchering from CVs, so I hope it'll be all good and we'll get some cherry blossom episode. Wait - may be I'm expecting too much but jb 6 months positivity spread krskte hain leads k around to phr ye CVs kch bhi krskte hain . . . . .

I don't even understand why so much fuss, don't get me wrong I am against all kinds of abuse not only on TV but also in other realms.

Is this the first time we have seen abuse, -no

Is this the last time we will see on TV -no

Will any of complaint bring any change -no

Are Rudra's actions justified- no

Did the show promised only idealistic/ hapy situations - no

Trust me there have been shows where the ML has abused the FL for no reason at all , in our show at least Rudra has got super valid reason.

This is story telling, this is how a set of writers have written the track to keep the story moving. I have yet to comes across a show where only good things happen, no MU, no drama and we only get happy path.

Simply because it doesn't work that way..

There has to be misunderstanding so that they can be resolved.

There has to be pain so that there can be joy.

There has to be separation so that they can be together again.

Rudra also got abused as a child , why no cribbing for him - is child abuse justified?

we have to remember this is a TV show and it will contain OTT , melodramatic and absurdly mind boggling tracks , with the sole purpose of increasing the TRPs which will eventually get them more profiit. That is how it works.

We should be happy we get entertained somewhere in between.

And at the end I just want to say if you are so much against abuse do something to stop it in the real world instead of fussing about it on sm that too for a TV show.

Exaclty this is not the first time. I am totally against physical or oral abuse but in ITV is normal. And trp audience take it as a normal thing.

Ru has not only one reason of betrayal. He has multiple reasons. At least there is some logic behind his behavior. Otherwise in some serials ML misbehaved with FL without any reason. Like you can see trp topper show.

Exaclty its ITV here we can't get happy tracks all the time.

There has to be misunderstanding so that they can be resolved.

There has to be pain so that there can be joy.

This separation will help Rusha and make their relationship stronger. Dooriyan pyar ko badhati hein.

Child abuse is more questionable.

Trp audience like melodramas. They like rotlu MLs and FLs. They like such ott dramas.

I just hope that they will give proper redemption track of Ru. And end this track in few weeks.

Decent episode today! Pree and fam saved Ru, Pree got served restraining orders, and Pree finally admitted that she can't live without Ru. Quite a happening day for Pree today!

In the precap, Pree and Neerja are already talking about the video - so progress there too! It's good that the writers have not defaulted to dragging tracks.

Now coming to the other major thing - I expected some rough behavior from Ru because of the MU. But this pulling of hair and shit needs to stop. I get that Ru is angry and heartbroken, but there are some lines that just shouldn't be crossed. You think she murdered your brother, go file a legal case against her, dude! I am here to watch an angsty and passionate love story, not a toxic one. I hope the writers respect that difference.
