but leap ke 2 weeks ke baad fir se wahi start hua

Hope CVs introspect

and give nice plot to all leads, supportive characters 👍🏼

From 26th July raaz and intro of other Ranes the show has become more boring and Kalyani's character has affected the most. They've brought her into typical Indian bahu wale zone mein. And now they write as if there was no leap at all, so why take such a long leap at all? This is why I get irritated when I see people saying Malhar is being butchered... no, his character is being simply shown going thru a bad phase, soon he'll rise like a phoenix. Kalyani is being written downright stupid and unlike a woman in her situation and age would be written, so I think Reem and her dad had good cause to have issues with the writers,but I'm wondering what made them stay, because not much has changed.

To be honest, she is only being portrayed as stupid when it comes to Pillu. Doing all these crazy activities and not thinking like an IAS officer. In most other matters, she is not terrible. Few times they have shown her professional side, she has acted normally. She was fine during the Vikram engagement track. I liked how she saw immediately that both mother and son were so shallow and greedy.

I know many are angry that she is taking a long time to see Deshmukh's true face. But you have to understand that AS is a master manipulator and Kalyani doesn't have any reason to believe the worst of her family. Last she remembers, all were happy and positive. She was only able to see AS's true face in THR 1.0 was because AS underestimated Kalyani and didn't bother hiding her true face. Now she knows, so she is pretending to be super nice. Soon, she will see their true faces and I believe she will use her power as DM against them.

But I know what you mean. Old Kalyani has these out of the box ways to deal with people and situations. I think maybe CVS wanna show that even she has lost that special part of herself in the past 5 years. And slowly being with Anu and Malhar, old Kalyani may come back. I hope this is the case.
