What's the logic behind inviting Ex contestants on premiere?

I mean we have seen their game , now we'd like to see the new contestants.

But whole attention is kinda attracted towards them unnecessarily

Would understand if they are called for special task or something in later episodes (Like hotel task) but this is too much 🙄🤦
