But the problem here lies with a woman's upbringing. She is trained to be the nurturer from earlier days of her childhood. From caring for her father and brother and elders in the house, she is taught that this what she is supposed to do. And since this is what she sees others around her are doing, she starts believing that this is her destiny.

True, I agree. And that is why upbringing should be where Aai teaches her kids not to follow her in all aspects. 'Training to be nurturer' has to stop. Caring is alright but nurturing is not. Each person in the family should care for the other. Girls should be taught to look out for themselves, to stand up for themselves and never think that being a mother is end all and be all.

@bold - I agree though not totally. Seeds are sowed by Aai but we learn from our friends, from what is going on in the society...that helps us to come out of Aai's shadow and be on our own.

We are our own personality and not a reflection of our mother. If our Aai is not confident or informed, we have to help her become that. And if she does not want to change, oh well, at least we tried.

In a divorce, grown up kids always take side of one parent. And many times one takes side of the mother while other of father.

Kharach kasla hulkat aahe Aniruddh. I have a feeling that his mother will also take his side.

Apparently she never liked her. Lagna chya velis ekdam Kashi kay change zali devach jane.

Abhi being a doctor, should not side aniruddha, coz he should know nothing is wrong with his mother. And if he says anything favouring aniruddha's claims, that'll count as incorrect/false diagnosis.

She only used to show that she never liked arundhati because of her ego but if you have seen show carefully after abhi engagement she started changing at that time there was one beautiful scene between aru nd her MIL after that she slowly started showing her soft side to aru its not sudden change it is gradual progression of her character

Thanks to rajan shahi that he changed her character from original show sreemoyee where MIL is very very venomous....she tortured sreemoyee like hell. The dialogues Sreemoyee's MIL throw at the show are very vulgar and degrading such dialogues at prime time would have led to ban the show.

I am liking these episodes... It's so warming to see this Aru.. Hope the makers will keep this Aru from now... There r going to be sides....
