Chapter 7
Riddhima & Vansh came down for the wedding & sat at their places & the rituals started. Soon it was time for pheras & both of them stood up for it. During pheras both of them were in deep thoughts.
V(thought):When we got married for the first time that time this vows meant nothing but this time I will try to fulfill every vow
R(thought):I will respect this marriage & fulfill every vow till my last breath
Both sat down, the priest asked Vansh to tie the nuptial chain, he took it & tied it around Riddhima's neck. He then took the vermillion & filled it in her hairline.
Priest:Vivah Samparn hua
Everyone clapped & both of them stood up & went to Dadi for blessings.
Da:Khush raho.. now both of you go & greet the guests
Both of them went towards their seat when Riddhima stops & looks upwards, Vansh felt her stop & follows her gaze. She was looking at the chandelier above their seats, he holds her hand & she looked towards him.
V:Relax nothing will happen
Riddhima nodded & both of them sat at their places to greet the guests, Anupriya who was standing far was looking at them.
An(thought):I hope aur kuch na hoy
Later
All guests left & everyone retired to their room, Vansh came to his study room where Angre was waiting before making sure no one was around.
V:Angre what information you got?
A:Boss something is very weird.. Devraj Singh Rathore is not in Mumbai only for two weeks infact he is returning tomorrow
V:What? Are you sure?
A:I have called in his office & his secretary confirmed it.. she also sent a picture of him
Angre showed him actual DSR picture, Vansh was shocked.
V:That means he was a fraud.. damn it.. Angre find out about him.. And made sure no one knows about it.. no one

Saying this Vansh left from there, unknown to them Siya was hiding & listening to them. Vansh entered the room & saw Riddhima was already sleeping.

He went towards the couch & was about to lie down & saw it was again wet & looked towards Riddhima & shook his head & lies down on bed. Riddhima opens her eyes & smiles.
Here in Anupriya's room, she was talking to Kabir on phone.
K:Do you know how the hell that chandelier fell?
An:No.. infact Vansh also doesn't know.. I am telling you Riddhima has done something
K:No mom she can't I have seen her face.. but I have a plan to make sure she really doesn't remember anything
An:What?
Kabir tells her the plan & she smiles.
An:But do that after three days as Vansh will not here for two days
K:Okay then its final
Kabir cuts the call & calls Mishra.
K:Mishra
M:Sir where are you? I can't even reach your phone
K:Get yourself ready after three days we are going somewhere
M:Where?
K:VR Mansion
Next Day
Riddhima was wearing her bangles when Vansh came out from washroom & stood behind her.
V:I forgot to tell you something
R:What?
V:I am going out of city for two days for a business deal & will be back on third day
Riddhima turns towards him & looked at him with a cute face, Vansh wanted to smile but stopped himself.
R:When you are leaving?
V:In ten minutes
R:Oh.. okay
Riddhima doesn't say anything just looked down, Vansh doesn't know what to say.
V:Take care of yourself
R:You too
Vansh left with Angre, whole day either Riddhima was resting in her room or reading a book in Vansh's study room. This whole time Anupriya kept an close eye on her to find anything suspicious but found nothing, later she stopped keeping eye on her. In evening Riddhima went to Dadi's room & saw she & Siya were looking at albums, she went & sat beside them.
Da:Arey Riddhima you also see.. we are looking at Vansh childhood pictures.. he never likes anyone to see it so whenever he goes somewhere we look at them
Three of them started looking at them, the album was filled with only Vansh's picture. Riddhima was turning pages when an picture falls out of the album, she picks it up. It was a picture of a lady.
R:Dadi who is she?
Dadi & Siya looked at it & there expression changes.
S:Its Ma's picture
R:Means
Da:Yes Anupriya is their step mother & it is Uma their actual mother.. Vansh used to love her alot infact he has painted an portrait of her but then..
R:Then?
S:You burned it
Riddhima was shocked hearing this & looked down.
Da:Siya
S:I am just telling what happened
Riddhima thinks of something & smiles slightly & left from there. Siya notices her smile.
S(thought):Achanak bhabhi ko kya hua?
Two Days Later
Vansh returns on third day but little late at night & as expected everyone was asleep. He was about to go upstairs when Anupriya comes out of kitchen & stops him.
An:How was your business deal?
V:It was fine Mom.. how is Riddhima? Did she got..
An:No she still doesn't remember anything but..
V:But what
An:For two days she is confined in her bedroom & only come out when needed or someone calls her.. you should talk to her may be even consult doctor if she is having problem
V:Yes mom
Saying this Vansh left for his room.
An:Tomorrow we will get to know if she is faking it or not
Vansh enters bedroom & was stunned as Riddhima was still awake & reading novel sitting at couch, he went towards her.
V:Riddhima
Riddhima looks towards him & smiles. She gets up & stands infront of him.
R:Vansh you were supposed to come early
V:Got stuck with work.. leave that.. mom told me you were confined to your room.. why? Any problem? Should I call the doctor?
R:No no.. actually.. I was doing something for you so..
Riddhima was feeling nervous when she was telling him, he noticed that.
V:What you were doing for me? Show me
Riddhima smiles brightly then again becomes nervous.
V(thought):Why the hell her moods is changing so frequently?
Riddhima holds his hand & pulled him towards the window where a frame type thing was covered with a cloth, Vansh looks at it suspiciously then at Riddhima.
R:Siya told me what I did and I am really really sorry for that.. I dont why I did it but I tried to make it perfectly.. I dont know if you will like it.. I hope you like it
V:Riddhima what is this?
R:You remove the cloth & see it
Riddhima steps back & Vansh went towards it. He removes the cloth & was hell shocked to see it. It was the portrait of his mother which was painted by Riddhima just like the way he had painted. He couldn't believe it was in front of his eyes. He turned towards Riddhima & she was hell scared as he was having a terrifying look on his face. She gulped down in fear, he steps towards her & stood infront of her. Before she can speak anything he hugs her tightly, she was shocked.
V:Thank you.. thank you so much for this
Riddhima smiles & hugs him back.
