Yes but he’s not playing an antagonist. You can call it anti-hero! But anti heroes have grey shades. And according to Zahid his character is purely evil. In fact, he called it hateable and scum of the earth kind of a person lol. So all in all it’s a villain protagonist. And since he’s the only central character, it pretty much explains as to why his female leads aren’t big names.

He could be an anti-hero too (I wish since I love a well-written anti-hero. There’s just something about them that… I’ll tell later maybe lol) Because when Amna referred to his character as an “anti-hero”, instead of correcting her, he nodded. Lekin apna role tu janab nay aesay explain kia tha jesay it’s one of the most deplorable, indulgent and horrendous characters he's encountered. Jesay k duniya ki koi achaayi naa ho us main lol.
