LMAO yesh, the 360 turnover turned suman into a sassy + blunt captain/doctor...even her assistant agreed that she has her own way of handling the patients...she dont mind yelling the shit out of her patients & voicing out her POV ...she gets irritated & rebellious...she dont mind eating chewing gum and sticking them onto the wall even pissing her assistant off to get it cleaned fearing the loss of her job...

So I'll just have to disagree on one point....this is not my definition of "sassy" or "blunt". Sumo was blunt even in her schooldays. The way she is behaving now is not "sassy" either....she's way crossed over the line into being rude and disrespectful with most people around her. The original Sumo had plenty of sass and spunk.....this Sumo is angry and bitter, not spunky.....and I feel sad about what she has become.

Her way of "handling" that patient was also weird....if they were trying to go for an "eccentric, but effective doctor" vibe, I don't think it worked....she mostly acted unhinged😆.

Anyways, I guess the coming days will give a fuller picture of her character....based on this first epi, she came across as a loose cannon to me. She only displayed some relative calmness and kindness with Veer.....she was off base with everyone else.

Yeah it's obvious she's trying to be a mentor to Veer and recreate the connection she had with her father.....sort of passing on the "legacy" from her father....so the kid will end up being the cliched plot device to connect Suman and Shravan😆

Goes to show that you can't find fulfillment if you do not have your loved ones in your life.....one she lost accidentally, the other she pushed away cruelly.....and so poor Sumo is left all alone with no one to pull her out of this dark abyss.

That seems to be the case nobody really celebrating her achievements or be proud on them either so she thinks all that is useless and even though she has achieved so much she feels rather unfulfilled

Yup that's when she will pour her heart out caz only shravan will be able to get past through this wall she set up around her

Right now they are both trying to cope with it in different ways...Suman is chewing gum and lashing out at people😆.....Shravan is being a daredevil with no regard for his life....in a sense, both of them are being cavalier about their lives.....one by putting it in physical danger, the other by letting her soul rot away in bitterness.

Must say that's a new coping mechanism.instead of drowning in gham with alcohol the usual yahan gum is being used to force gham or is it ca she is a girl and it's still daily show 😆

LOL yes....that adds a refreshing touch for sure....never seen any leads coping with their pain by literally chewing GUM😆. Props to them for coming up with a new idea....ladki ko brooding/bitter banaa diya instead of the guy😆.....alcohol would be too cliched....this is real nayi soch....gham bhulaane ke liye GUM chabaao😛

@AY, ill be honest here but yeah since its the 1st episode so hence maybe somethings look appear to be confusing...like the personality changes, toning down of the emotional behavior, bearing past grudges and the way of coping em (one venting out gum ka bhadaas with shravan's photo...like pyaar ka dard is khata meetha or something[ idk if thats the metaphor they were using today when suman criticized her senior 😆] hopefully further clarity on the roles esp why she was getting irritated with chachi,

what happened to triple B (Brigadier buddhao brainwasher), avni, devraj, and all...shravan seems desperate to leave bhopal after devraj comes out innocent so looks like the per tikne nhi wale ...for some reason the money felt like an reference to the ticket scene when he jumped from the bridge..😆

Yeah there was a LOT going on in the epi, I agree😆.....a very sudden shift with not enough time for us to process yet.

The few things I managed to figure out:

1) The families will all likely be introduced tomorrow....today they wanted to focus on only introducing new SS and showing a hit or miss.

2) Shravan has mostly stayed away from Bhopal with field postings....and he is looking to leave quickly this time as well after wrapping up the court case.

3) The beginning scene was definitely a throwback to the first epi when Shravan had pulled a daredevil stunt for that ticket....he's still taking risky bets, but this time it's more life and death stuff like literally storming into enemy territory on the border.

4) Suman's behavior with everyone is like that of a wounded animal....she is taking out all the pain inside her on other people....even random patients. She seems to have become very cynical about all relationships....whether it's family (Chachi) or colleagues (her seniors and juniors at work). The only explanation is that losing Shravan made her lose faith in all relationships.

The irony is that she's the one who pushed him out in a fit of rage and grief but seems like over time she's still resentful that he left her and that is why she doesn't have faith in relationships anymore.

5) Shravan on the other hand is feeling betrayed and heartbroken that Sumo tore them apart like this and he feels that he's the kind of person who gets abandoned by everyone.

In a sense they both feel abandoned by each other but Sumo's case is the weaker one right now since she deliberately pushed him away while he walked away after she hurt him that much. They can only resolve all this by opening up to each other again but now they both have walls up so it may take time.

We need to see how the next 2-3 epis play out to get a sense of where the story is headed😆....I'm mostly happy that they didn't go the cliched route of making Shravan an AYM and the overall story also doesn't seem OTT like it is with most other shows.
