However,what I was referring to was,developing a trust among each other and manifesting that into a relationship(I hope someone compares PraChit and PraYansh dynamics in a post to show us the positives and negatives of the relationships that Pranati shares with both these men. Ironically, PraChit relationship counters my original comment,their relationship is a proof that trust ke saath saath love bhi important hai).
A functional relationship comes from the effort from both sides,basing on trust. While Pranati put her trust both in Reyansh and their relationship,Reyansh didn't(not going to repeat his reasons). As much as he grew admiration and respect for Pranati over time(and unknowingly love as well),he didn't put faith in their relationship. He was determined that things wouldn't work between them in the long term and creeped out every time Pranati brought out the topic of 'our family' or 'marriage'.
So,it isn't just because Pranati trusted Rey and their relationship.Its because only Pranati put her trust in this relationship,that was meant to be nurtured by two people.

Jey, @bold - I never thought about this scene in the way you described. Wow! It does make a lot of sense. Even though pranati knows archit loves her but she is just seeing a friend. Where as Reyansh sees the love. Like I we know now reyansh believes pranati deserves a lot and everything Perfect he willingly or unwillingly try to scrutinize Archit.
Reyansh thinks pranati has replaced his place in her life and with archit which is why he is like this.
But the guy knows only half truth.

One expects the other person to also trust him or her, but this is not something that can easily be seen.
Pranati was naive, she assumed things, and you're right, Rey was evasive when they talked about the future, that should have made her understand things.
