Well then we'll have to accuse her of plagiarising some MishBir fan's post from SM, don't we? Because she couldn't have been more eloquent and succinct. She acknowledged everything word to word, incident to incident. She spitted the truth only to convince them that day. That was very obvious if you watch it without bias. I did, that day, and I actually applauded Kuhu for doing that (on the LU) and even sympathised with her dilemma. Now there is clearly NO excuse in her favour!

Being selfish doesn't mean that you will have no limits to hurt someone or that you will never consider the consequences of your actions! She has committed heinous crimes out of selfishness. Is THAT justified? People have been pointing out everything she's done in the name of "immaturity, insecurity, self obsession" in this thread and obviously those 3 reasons that make her a "relatable and likeable" character have long since been overstepped and rendered obsolete now.

ITV does a great job of villainising women who depict even an iota of self-preservation and that is what they have done with Kuhu. It surprises me that these shows are written by women. ITV shows exaggerate it to such an extent that it makes you want to run far away from thinking about your own self and future. That is why I love watching Shaadi Mubarak right now. Kusum is basically a well-written Kuhu.

We're only gonna discuss a character based on what we have in front of us. How the writers butchered her character arc is a different topic. You're turning this into metafiction, calling out the reason your favourite character has been villainised.

Okay guys i created this separate topic to vent out all my frustration. Seeing this one character commit blunders after blunder and not getting called out for it is totally getting on my nerves now. I as an audience deserve a closure at least for my own sanity and peace of mind.

I am writing down all the kaands i can recall which nobody found out about. Feel free to add more if i missed any and pour out your frustration.

1) Janmashtami fall from pyramid

2) Pills kaand (MH family and kunal are still unaware)

3) Breaking khaandaani Necklace post marriage

4) Email fiasco

5) Selling her womb for money and property

6) Making sure mishbir got caught in their dating phase in the worst possible way

1. No hopes this will ever come out 😆 Looks like makers and kuhu both became ghajini after that kaand 😆 bas audience apna sar pakad ke baith gayi hai

2. Contradictory to the bold statement, yeh kaand saamne aaya tha finally 😆 And kuhu got shots too 😆 thank God kunal ko nahi pata otherwise sportscar mein baitha ke kuhu ko mahs house chod ke aa jaata 😆

3. Again contradictory to the bold statement, mishti knew about it and she confronted her to stay away from pooja 😆 but alas 🥺 That became a way out for pills kaand 😆

4. Okay this was called out too 😆 It was a joint venture by kuku to take badla from mishti 😆 mishti confronted kuhu and abir confronted kunal as and then they came to know 😆

5. Khushiyaan bhi batein yeh rishtey pe dance karte karte kaand saamne ayega 😎

6. Irrelevant now , mishbir are already married 😆 Jaane do 🤣

You know why ppl are so upset with kuhu, it's not exactly because of the kaands , its because she never gets confronted with her kaands in a way where she feels it's her mistake too , she continues repeating the same mistakes again and again and everytime the intensity of galti se mistakes keeps increasing, what's worst is for every doing of hers she has a classic answer - I am insecured of mishti , that's why I did what I did

It's not like the other 3 never commit mistakes, they do but they are called out , they themselves admit it and go on correction mode unlike kuhu , for her even saying sorry becomes a very big deal forget corrections

I understand the characters, that is why I know when and where their actions seem so OOC that it's forced. Understanding the story and storytelling are two separate things.

She has the self preservation instinct which is why she agreed for surrogacy because she wanted to preserve her future with Kunal. I wish that instinct held more priority than her love for Kunal and her fear of failure which might come along with divorcing him, but sadly, it doesn't. I would've loved to see that but koi nahi.

bold:I think you're not willing to budge beyond this. I spoke in Kuhu's favour at the time too. Her reasons are not so "self preserving" anymore.

Kusum is not a version of kuhu. Plz don't want to compare,kusum is empathetic towards other kuhu is not. Der is a saying in 3 idiot when our friend fail we feel bad but when our friend top we feel worst. She is like dat.

I really wanted to say a thing. I noticed few days back. When makers were trying to screw mishti's character none of her fans defended her during haldi blackmail. She was bashed alot more from her fans Dan from others. Her fanpage wanted ppl to give constructive criticism n dey did n maker listen to it. Exactly same thing happened few days back.

If u all wanted betterment of kuhu's character instead of justifying her wrong deed it was better ,would huv condemned it. May be makers would huv listen to you. May be even now listen to u all as makers r now generous towards her so much dat 90% ss is of her.

But now I guess it's going to end dat doesn't matter

Yes I remember this 😆 During haldi kaand we all called out mishti, I even made a post in the main forum saying how wrong is mishti going to do by insulting kuhu in a way insulting BM bp and breaking abir's trust too , we criticised her during baba fiasco too when again she fell in meenu's trap ...so whatever the intentions...when they fall in trap and start doing wrong they are criticised...nothing new...abir is also criticized for break up even though it was a blackmail by meenu , he is criticized for performing kuhu over mishti and not being firm enough...so it is what it is 😆

bold:Matlab? Them forgiving Kuhu for everything they already KNOW she did doesn't make her deeds any less accountable. Forgiving her all the time has been one of the reasons she hasn't seen the light yet. And MishBir, especially Abir, have been called out for it several times.

She exposed the truth because she didn't want to keep lying and also because Kuhu was behaving crazy by threatening to commit suicide and elope. By this point, not taking the family into consideration would be HIGHLY irresponsible on her part! She was unable to control Kuhu because Kuhu won't listen to her. It's not like she exposed the truth with any malicious intent to ruin the chances of Kuhu uniting with her love forever. And THAT was exactly what Kuhu tried to do by exposing MishBir's relationship. She wanted to stop it entirely. She knows Mishti would never go against the family and can be pressurised to break up with Abir, that Mishti would NEVER stoop to attempting suicide without even sparing a single thought to her family and what they will go through.

strikethrough:This falls under a similar category as the above. Mishti thought it was the right thing to do and even you made a post about wishing Kuhu stuck to her instincts of self preservation and confided in her family who would support her and help her.

And lastly Mishti had just told Abir before Kuhu planned to unmask them that she doesn't want to hide their relationship anymore from her family, that she wants their blessings. The reason they were hiding it in the first place were also obvious, they weren't sure how the news would be received and rightly so! We saw everyone's reactions which were just as they had feared. So they wanted to wait a bit before coming out which wasn't wrong or devious on their part.

bolds:Fans who have also called out Mishti and Abir everytime they were wrong? Blind hatred towards Kuhu would make these fans take her side when it was justified or appreciate her actions when she was right? You clearly read the threads/posts very selectively.

If you couldn't see it, I don't have the patience anymore to elaborate as I've been trying to do with other(s) because it is clearly falling on deaf ears. @bolds apply here as well. You're obviously free to maintain your stance or make a separate post about it.
