I saw an old promo giving introductions to both version of shravan suman. Teenage sumo ambition was joining army and captain sumo ka bhi it remains on the same line ki fight for the country until her last breath. Teenage shravan ka was going to abroad and enjoying life Major shravan ka is Die for his country. And while both phases sumo had an idol her father shravan ka kabhi bhi koi idol nai tha😆

Shravan is such a weirdly extreme human in terms of his love.

But i always think while sumo is a dedicated inteligent student shravan has a knack for taking up challenges and winning them. Like when he despite falling asleep most of the time still managed to impress everyone with answering everything properly during group study. Haha as vijay once said he himself isn't aware of what he is capable of and that's his best quality. And he can also be street smart by getting ways to make things happen or get them done like solving that maths problem🤣 wese that reminds sumo does not like being ignored by him so if he indeed gets too quiet and minds his own business that also can later irritate her.

No, the issue will be that ek toh Sumo headstrong hai, dusra she will likely resent him again and will dislike that he is the senior person in class this time😆.....Head Girl ko aadat nahin hogi to listen to others rather than being the one passing around instructions😆.....and they may likely clash over this only.

THIS. So much. I'm so beyond sick of the romanticizing of soldiers losing their lives. Iska heartbreak se kya connection hai? People willing to give up their lives for their country are answering to a higher/noble cause....but nobody joins the Army WANTING to die....they ofcourse do it to serve their country first and approach it as a job first. They don't fear dying but that doesn't mean they all want to die.

JTHJ ka storyline was BEYOND retarded....you're lucky if you haven't watched it....lol usmein SRK is heartbroken cuz Katrina leaves him over some stupid promise she made to God so he joins the Army and becomes part of some bomb squad where he's always willingly trying to put his life in danger hoping to die😕

So based on the epis I caught up on in my rewatch last night....this is how the turn of events was.....I couldn't remember before, so I'm sort of noting it for memory now😆

Shravan started dating Devika simply cuz she showed interest in him all of a sudden....one day they are all sitting in the cafeteria playing some silly "who blinks first" game toh just to win the game, Shravan spins some made up story of how Devika's eyes remind him of his ex-gf's eyes who died 😕😆.....Devika instantly falls for this and gets all senti. Sumo is watching all this and is disgusted with him (she was already irritated with him for giving Saheb wrong ideas about her by this point)....baad mein Shravan smirks that he can impress anyone, even Sumo ke Daddu....toh here starts their first challenge....Sumo's like Daddu ko impress kar liya toh samjho mujhe bhi impress kar liya...kar ke dikhaao.

Toh iske baad Shravan shows up at the Tiwaris in "sanskaari" mode to impress Daddu and starts that chess game with him that gets left halfway....then he tries to jog with Daddu next morning too....then he also uses Bunty to play some random guy he's helping give a lift to to show to Daddu what a good soul he is....lol

Meanwhile, Devika continues to get emo over Shravan and he starts getting a bit weirded out but continues his game of making her think she reminds him of his ex-gf, that is why he can't talk to her...Sumo sees all this and confronts him ki why is he messing with Devika....toh Shravan says he's doing it so that so that she keeps thinking about him.....basically isko mind games khelne mein mazaa aa raha tha. He keeps telling Sumo that she shouldn't interfere since this is between him and Devika but Sumo can't let it go since Devika is her friend. On the side, Anish also sees all this weird back and forth going on b/w SS and Devika and starts wondering kiska kya chal raha hai.

That night, Shravan then makes an excuse of Bunty getting into an accident to get out of resuming the chess game with Daddu so that he can continue to draw this out and get more opportunities to go to their house and win over Daddu. Same night, Devika lands up at Sumo's house to have a "girl talk" about how she is so emotional over Shravan and usko sapne aa rahe hain about Shravan ki dead gf saying ki use Shravan ka khayaal rakhna hai (background mein Kancha is laughing her head off over this😆).....she then asks for Sumo's help in getting Shravan to talk to her....Sumo meanwhile anyways is disgusted with Shravan and rightly guesses that he faked Bunty's accident as an excuse. Baad mein Shravan admits this to her when she calls him and says, "you've started to know me very well now". They btw also have a bet going ki whoever wins the bet over Daddu, then gets to ask for something from the other.

Finally third day, Shravan tries to copy an idea from the movie "Chhoti si baat" to win the chess game but ends up getting caught by Daddu so he loses the game😆....uske baad he tries to avoid Sumo all day as she keeps calling him to collect on her bet (at one point he even says chudail ki tarhaan chimad hi gayi hai yeh toh....lol)....lol but finally raat ko they talk and Sumo asks for two things - 1) that he delete Damru ka video from his phone and 2) that he clear things up with Devika.....Shravan feels he got off easy and agrees to both things.

Next day when he goes to talk to Devika....phir iske dimaag mein khurafaat aati hai and he spins a story ki Sumo is desperate over him and that is why Devika shouldn't involve Sumo in between them. I feel now after watching this in sequence that he did this cuz he was irritated with Sumo interfering on the Devika issue to begin with....toh he came up with this lie to make it look like he's done what Sumo asked him to do while still somehow making her look like the despo one😆.....

Sumo itne mein hi khush ho jaati hai since she feels he did what she asked him to do toh she kind of becomes normal with him....and then iske baad comes the scene of her dad leaving for some mission and her being sad over not being able to meet him.....toh when Shravan senses her sadness on the call, he instantly makes the plan to take her to her father and she agrees....bas itna hi flow mein hua....

So even though Shravan was kind of doing all this lying and messing around with Devika in the background at that point, I guess he had still started considering Sumo a friend somehow which is why he instantly jumped to wanting to cheer her up about her dad.....and uske baad toh their first bike ride, Sumo thanking him for taking her to her dad, mawa jalebi wagairah se hi bonding shuru ho gayi and they were just happy in each other's company even as nok-jhonk continued otherwise.

I really hope they keep his street smart nature intact. A motivated shravan can easily be shown by showing how this whole situation became a challenge for him. Because literally all he needs is a challenge and his motivation is on full mode.

Haha Haan sumo having to take orders from shravan would be an added irritation and resentment factors for her and shravan could always use the seniority card to shut her up during clashes.

Exactly. There is a world apart difference between fighting and wanting to die. But print media and media in general love to feed the people this contrived disturbing definition of patriotism and what it means for the armed forces. Public also love to keep that narrative going. Sometimes going as far as lecturing people belonging to armed forces

Yeah for sumo shravan so far it does look like there is a whole lot of baggage they carry from the past. Saalo baad milke ek dusre pe Sab niklega😆 remains to be seen does suman even know shravan joins the army and shravan joining the army whatever reason is shown wanting to be near sumo will be one because i mean she is obviously going to be a part of it and at some point it's not so far stretched they will cross paths so it's a little too weird to think being near suman wasn't on his mind when he decided to join army.

Thank you so much for this long recap it does make things a lot clearer and easy to understand.at that time toh the whole devika thing was so confusing and I got it up til him lying about devika but I really couldn't get him lying to devika about sumo and then giving everyone the impression ke sumk iski GF hai even though I think he did it to peecha chudhao from devika but woh phir apne hi lies main trap ho gaya and woh aneesh used it against him to create party wala MU if i remember correctly
