This is why I dont trust statements of cast, whether it is Covid or his age or watever. They have to say what the concerned actor/PR/PH ask them to say.

Even TOI confirmed he was affected...so it wouldnt be a lie.

Sometimes tests show false negatives. He could've have had multiple tests. Possibly they just didn't want to say anything until the official statement. Anyway, well wishes for Rrahul and hope the rest of the cast and crew is safe.
