Even I haven’t watched Season 1 but yes this season they have Given importance to family ,relationships.Vansh has repeatedly said Family se badhkar kuch nahi .Ridz has no family but as you pointed has slowly dissolved in the Rai Singhania family .

Riansh are discovering each other ,they are getting used to each other and their inhibitions drive them away but more than Kabir the greater power too want them to be united (As seen in epi 63) .So yes it will be interesting to see their dynamics post the pool scene .

I’m sure Vansh has a greater plan up his sleeves and Ridz she too will figure out something is up with Kabir .His manic side was visible and that seemed alien to her .Its a matter of time things unravel
