Most of us have that one elusive dream profession which remains etched in our collective unconscious. Perhaps it's too difficult too pursue that dream, too risky, or too impractical.
What is your dream profession? Are you one of the lucky few who are actually pursuing your dream profession? Would love to hear more about it.
My dream profession is to be a writer. I love reading, and am always in awe of writers and their craft. But I'm not that talented, so I can't pursue that dream. I make do with a career in publishing, which also deals with books, and am doing pretty well in it.
Cool. I'm a writer who sucks at the business end of publishing. Constantly running into problems because of that. Maybe you can teach me how to handle marketing and PR.😀
I lost my youth and potential being indecisive and weak, I still don't know what I actually wanted to be. When I was in my early teens, I wanted to be an actress, but no looks, no grace and zero attractive personality, so yeah this was the dream I had.
Owner of a very big nursery/ garden or something like that. I am super crazy about plants.
Archaeologist / Historian
Unfortunately, the job prospects for both were not very good, so I switched to economy.
I'm*touchwood* living my dream profession❤️.
I've wanted to be in fashion even before I became a teen. Everyone around me used to laugh at it, my teacher at school once mock laughed at me in such a way (was in 8th) that look of mockery stayed with me for long. My family thought I'm insane to another level. But all of these just fuelled my ambition to another level. Ab toh I'm killing it in my field 🤞😃

Why do you speak like you're a ghost already. I might not know you personally but I hope this helps you, "cultivate what doesn't come naturally". Work on your craft na. As it is you have a job side by side work on your craft. Sapno ki umar thodi hoti hai?

That’s so beautiful and inspirational 🥰
Oh yeah this....I loved dancing n always thought I'll do something with that. Even people around me thought I could go to nationals n all. Tab mein d3 dekh k bhi kaafi inspired hui😂. Aur phir humein achanak ek disease ho gaya that made me bed ridden for almost an year n took away all strength from my knee. But worry not for 8 years I kept the dream alive with my stubbornness, worked on my body n I'm once again starting the training in a couple of days. Not for any Nationals n all but to prove to me that I can.
