Sholay : Thakur should've killed Gabbar. I know that they changed the ending because of censor board not approving it, but it didn't make sense. Veeru killed all of Gabbar's men, so what's the point of leaving Gabbar alive and handing him over to the police because you now suddenly believe in law?
English Vinglish : Shashi should've given divorce to her husband like Rani broke off with her fiance in Queen. After all the message of women empowerment themes, the movie followed the same old trope of woman forgiving her husband because pati parmeshwar hota hain.
Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam : Nandini should've divorced Vanraj, not saying that she should've gone to Sameer. But her ending up with Vanraj gave out a bad message that parents are right in forcing their kids into marriage with a specific bride/groom because "they know better".
Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani : Bunny and Naina should've gone separate ways to give a better ending to the film. They were clearly not compatible with each other, and Bunny was still not sure on what to do with his life.
Kal Ho Naa Ho : Naina didn't really needed to end up with Rohit because Aman was dying. We never saw that she was ever able to move on from Aman and fell in love with Rohit. A better ending would've been of Naina assuring Aman that his memories are enough for her to be happy even after he's gone. The movie basically gave out a message that women always need a man to complete her. They reinforced it further with that particular scene where Naina's mother tells her that she'll regret rejecting Rohit's love in old age because she's a woman.
Dhoom 2 and Kick : Hrithik, Aishwarya, and Salman, all three of their characters in their films should've either died or arrested for their crimes instead of glorifying their acts. Just because they did robbery and didn't kill anybody doesn't make it okay. Many policeman and other authorities must've died when trying to nab them.
Welcome and Singh Is Kinng : All the criminals whom Akshay tried to change in these films should've gone to prison for their past crimes to repent for their mistakes, instead of just leaving the crime world. I mean they legit killed people. They have blood in their hands. How can the movie shrug that off?
