Started watching it for Irfan but stopped after 20 minutes . It felt so boring. 😴
Man, this is such a feel good film. Doesn't sell you myths. Shows you the everyday mundane life of common people, but gives you reasons to find happiness even in smallest of things.
Such a beautiful movie❤️
I would would watched this movie as a must see, but when I saw it, I loved it, what a wonderful movie and irfan and nimrat both were so awesome
This rates high on my list of very good films, I cannot say enough good reasons why, the only drawback it had: It was a clear example of how corruption and manipulations fail a nation.
Egos, "secret committees and panels" that are composed of sell outs and people who have personal interest and gain or who are in a position of power not by merit but by thuggery are the ultimate sure fail formula for any country, on an international platform.
I can say with almost 99% assurance that The Lunchbox would have been a final contender IF not the winner of the Oscar Academy awards that year. The film met all the criteria necessary to be considered top notch in filmography as well as original content. A film India should have been very proud to send as a representation of a very unique system.
A lot like this year when Super 30 was excluded, due to a personal vendetta and the harmful influence of the corrupt. Not saying anything against Gully Boy, but it was NOT Oscar material, on the other hand Super 30 for sure would have brought the award home, because it met the afore mentioned criteria, so I am saying it with that 99% assurance.....too bad the Hindi film industry missed out and so did a world wide audience that has so many choices, they can only look at what is highlighted by exposure. There is simply not enough time to see every film from every country, therefore it is up to the individual countries to send their best. You would think that is what countries do, right?...NO! not India, they usually "out-do" themselves.
Beautiful, beautiful movie....and Irrfan ❤️❤️ words fail me in praising this magician actor. I love him for eternity ❤️

Ki Ka was a film directed by R. Balki—and it remains one of my favourite films of 2016. I loved it because it dared to flip something we rarely...
