I agree, that is true of most of his movies. But Matchpoint is much more mainstream, and one of his most commercial films. The cinematic elements in it are very pronounced and amenable to becoming a Bollywood adaptation.

Although I still feel the same way, when I watched Matchpoint for the first time, ScarJo had turned me on and I am a straight girl. Dunno if anyone in Bollywood can bring that oomph, we do have limited options available.

Will watch Match point👍🏼 . But i hated Allen's Annie Hall, Everyone Says I love You, Hanna and her Sisters, Blue Jasmine loved Cate's performance tho , Vicky Cristina Barcelona and so on.

Its actually a very dark film

Yeah definitely dont think anyone else will be given Scarlet's role if Deepika is in the film. Ananya fits the role of Emily Mortimer who played the wife in the wife- sweet but ineffective and kind of blah.

This is one of Allen's best in recent years.

So, the Annihilators were right? According to BW standard hero's wife is the heroine. LOL... And that makes Deepu the second lead.
