Ipkknd remarriage track... A discussion!

Hey!

So couple of days back I read a post about arshi remarriage track. I think it said that it was a little hosh posh track and I did comment that time.

So my reason was that, the writers had to tweak off the story as our beloved barun was quitting. (Makes sense to me)

But my question is how would have ipkknd proceeded in case "barun quitting" was a not a factor?

- There could have been a separation track, right?

I remember ASR is someone who doesn't believe in marriages. (Seen it from the beginning)

Also, the initial promo tagline "naftrat pass aane na de, mohabbat door jaane na de".

That means there was a possibility that Arshi stayed unmarried with the love-hate alive and kicking?

I'm trying to think what could have happened then. How would he come in terms to accept khushi? And even if at the end of it he realizes the reality, khushi would have accepted him? After abandoning her?

If above is possible that means Shyaam ji is still in the picture? Dadi as well? How would they be exposed?

Let me know your views. (Just trying to trigger a fanfiction idea in here)

P.S - I know we wouldn't have got a cute little kid called Arav. Khushi won't be Mrs India 2011. But my point is ipkknd wouldn't have ended right?

I know "things happen for good" but if I think hard "was it really we wanted for ipk to end?"

Remember, if ipkknd 1 wouldn't have ended, we wouldn't really have so much hate within us (for the producers or other seasons). If not all, few of us could relate to this post?

Again I'm not trying to offend anybody or trying to create a bashing thread. (I'm new at this fan blogging stuff)

In the same thread, I had also dropped a comment and by that, I guess it should be clear that my stance on this is very different.

Barun quitting or not - I don't know. But to me, the remarriage track never seemed hurrried or incomplete. So my view is that Arnav came for Khushi and showed faith in her. And that brought their story to a full circle.

Arnav had already broken her heart atleast three times in the past (Diwali, Marriage, You're the biggest mistake of my life). During all those times, they had started getting closer and Arnav said / did something which made them go apart again. If he had really left her at the altar (especially after all those lovely and romantic remarriage events + the Bachelor's party night), I think it would have been one times too many.

I don't know about Khushi but I myself would have found it difficult to forgive him or watch further. Although knowing myself, I guess I wouldn't have been able to resist watching or eventually forgiving him too but still, I much much prefer the track that happened.

Yes, maybe the separation would have added some drama and we could have gotten better tracks than Sheetal or Mrs India - on the other hand it could have been something worse too. Who knows what could have happened...

You're right in saying that whatever happens... happens for the good. I truly believe in this.

IPK without Barun is not something I would like to see - I thought so then and I still think so.

And before anyone labels me as a Barun fan / Sobtian - no I'm not. I wouldn't watch it without Sanaya either.

I prefer to see the good in the entire scenario. Yes, I was very very sad that IPK ended, and especially at the abrupt way it did. But having replacements and new jodi would have tarnished the show and its memories forever for me. So I'm happier with what happened than what could have happened *shudder*

I never hated the actors / producers / channel, etc. I signed petitions because I didn't want to see a new pair. That doesn't mean I blamed them for the situation that was occurring.

All in all, I have no regrets for what happened. But I would like to see others views on this. 😊

I also liked the remarriage track personally.

If Arnav broke the poor girl's heart and left her at the altar, he'd have been pretty much irredeemable in my eyes. Because whatever happened in the past was not at all Khushi's fault. And he'd treated her unjustly way too many times. Waaay too many times.

Yeah, maybe his acceptance of everything about the past, the unfortunate situation, which had tormented him for so long, was a bit... Uh, I dunno... Rushed? Knowing how it had given him PTSD for ages and made him what he was while growing up... Maybe they should've discussed it more after the remarriage as normally, it's expected that if such an event happens in one's life, it takes time to accept the past and to make absolute peace with it. And that you'd discuss it with your partner. And one would need therapy usually for such scars I believe 😛

Also, if they dragged it out, and if ASR actually didn't show up on the D-day, I'm somehow suspecting that a miraculous pregnancy might've been on the cards 😆🤭 Too predictable though. And not cool imo :p

Also Dadi had to go! 🤮

Woman can't smile dammit. So weird.

Brooding is so not her thing. Her grandson does it the best. 😆

To me Arnav Singh Raizada coming to the wedding was the one of the most beautiful aspects of the show which made it way apart from any other show. Not that I used to watch or watch any other Hindi show even now for that matter!

But I think the remarriage track was nice. Not hurried but I also think daadi should have seen a little more of the office ASR before her exit. That part was a little tame for me. A little more ASR style cold dialogues would have been a nice dessert.

Well I couldn't agree more with you as well. After all we got to see the beautiful married life of Arshi. The period was short but really cute.

And yes ASR coming to alter was a twist nobody would have expected. You know why? Because ipkknd is always unexpected!

The writers of ipkknd were magical. They could have pulled it off effortlessly. After all didn't we get a perfect ipkknd ending that too with Arnav and Khushi?

The fact that it all falls into place is itself magic. The show ended with a fashion show sequence just the way it started. And the way it started, it ended the same way. (Him carrying her in his arms)

It's a loop. The end is the beginning. (Just kidding 😁)
