The reboots NEVER work. Period. A super successful tv show or a movie if remade will be an insult to the original . Iconic movies or iconic tv shows should remain untouched even if it's from the same maker. Develop a story. Make a serial. Continue running it for years or bring in tens of seasons . That's the way to go about it.

I have a slightly different take here. I think reboots can work and will work provided the story is worked upon. Having characters on board who have already made a place in the viewing audiences hearts is a definite plus, but then the biggest point of a reboot is that only the character name should be the same. The story needs to be entirely different. If you insist on rebooting a show which was itself very very regressive in its time, and then insist on sticking to the same archaic twists and the same story, it's bound to not be accepted. Why would anyone sign up to watch the same story they have already watched 10 years ago?

This is where kzk lost the plot completely. Once the story started following the set line of its predecessor and tried to fit in a similar storyline, it all started going downhill.

KZK2 has remained in top 10 shows for the longest period when the focus was on AnuPre. 😆😎

They show has only sinked after lockdown as viewers patience have been continuously tested by showing negativity all the time where Komo is shown more powerful than any other character in the show and forcing Bajaj, boring BaPre to audience.🤭😂 Waise bhi forceful attempts of adding floppy character like Bajaj to the show from the past 1 year has completely ruined and sinked the show to bottom level.😆👎🏼

Also EK kai ego nai bhi show dubba diya! Aur kaho “I don’t care” to viewers demands for AnuPre! 🤣

Storyline has been bad after NB track but it’s Parth and Erica’s brilliant performance as Anurag and Prerna and their Chemistry which made viewers to love AnuPre despite going through butchering several times and crappy storyline.😎 Especially Parth as Anurag has been extremely phenomenal, he has rise beyond crappy storyline where majority of fans have rooted for Anurag!🥺♥️♥️

The only reason this show is shutting earlier than before as Parth is leaving to concentrate on other projects. And why should not he? Whats so good about this show anymore? Better to explore other things as both Parth and Erica are young and are at the peak of their careers. ⭐️

Btw replacing Parth is not an easy job as it’s difficult to find someone who can fit into Anurag’s shoe. ML replacement will further doom this show. So it’s a wise decision by channel/PH to shut KZK2.

I’m glad KZK2 is ending with uniting AnuPre as Parica and KZK1 mistake is not repeating here again.😅🤞🏽

Show is a flop and this fact is known by everyone because hardly any Ekta's 'Successful' show goes offair in just 1.5 years ..This show couldn't even complete 2 years since 3-4 months are excluded due to Covid and before saying that its due to Parth that show is going off air ..this is bullshit since we know how it works for Ekta..If she wants she can replace anyone including leads..Sushant wanted to leave PR for movies he was replaced by Hiten even when it had high trps so there is no excuse of kzk going offair due to Parth..Its just the failure of kzk due to which its going offair..Such a tacky show this is where leads are inconsistent with their behavior with no storyline n just going on autopilot..Look at the investment done by Ekta and Sp and they haven't gotten the same expected ratings which they thought they would..This show ratings were never consistent and hardly 1 ya 2 tracks worked for this show other wise Anu pre as a jodi is a flop..They themselves don't even know if they were married to each other or not and who in this world in 2020 would accept pre marital sex ? This show hardly topped baarc or SP and that was only once when they got their 1st and last 3+ ratings..and then tanked..It even went out of top 20 in the first year itself which is embarrassing considering people were shouting on roof top about how popular Anu Pre are as a jodi ..Why didn't they brought trps consistently ? And getting only 2.1 or maximum 2.5 trp is an embarrassment considering the budget of this show is way too high..Leads confession phase is the most important aspect of the show but it failed to garner the desired audience...Like IB it only gained online audience but failed to get trp audience.

The second part I agree. They kinda screwed themselves over pandering to both fan groups. They started with AnuPre and should have decided if they will be endgame. If not, gradually progressed to PreRish. But doing neither makes them look undecided and really self serving

YHM ran for 6 long years with 3 different timeslots and at every time slot it was a slot leader unlike kzk which was hardly the slot leader ..YHM is the last ekta show on SP that was blockbuster and they never expected anything from YHM while there was way too much expectations from KZK which were brutally killed.

I agree that content of the show is its biggest limitations.but if it's about trp then if I m not mistaken,some show where female lead become makhi used to top trp chart and one fl who washed her husbands laptop with soap used to be top trp chart.

I just heard about these shows so I don't know the name.Having said that about kzk,its theme and pressure bif it's predecessor never let show and it's audience rest in peace.

There are shows who cant rule trp chart that's why can't survive long but they rule people's heart.one of such show is patiala babes which I just watched.its beautiful but it's trp I heard is poor.

I personally think this 2 men n 1 woman concept had worked in 2000 era's but in 2020 this wouldn't had worked with any actor ..Erica as Prerna never became iconic as Ishimaa, Akshara or even Gopi bahu (the laptop washing one fl 🤪) due to her limitations in acting n with poor dialogue delivery she couldn't convince her audience and Parth is also a limited actor..He needs to work on his emotional scenes while he is better at other places but i will rate him better than Erica in terms of acting.Certain shows that fails to gain trps n rule trp charts have a good story line but still fails but kzk had no storyline since its inception.
