No, the officer let him out on bail only. The lawyer submitted the bail papers from court.

Only court can free him. For that the case should happen in the court right? Without court case, how can he be freed? For a bail, you don’t have to do that. But for being absolved, the matter has to go to the court. Anyway, for all our purposes, we can assume he has been freed because they wouldn’t prolly take this matter up again on the show.
