I think he was their first choice. Because he became quite popular after Cheekh. Ppl were praising his acting and chemistry with Saba Qamar. So it is not a surprised that he got a lead role after that. plus he is known for doing many grey shaded roles before. So it suits him perfectly.

Big Bang repeats their actors a lot. Bilal Abbas is always in one of their projects (Balaa, Cheekh, Dunk), Ushna Shah is their favourite also (Balaa, Cheekh, Bewafa), Azeekah Daniel is also second lead in every other play of theirs(Balaa, Cheekh and now Dunk), now they are after Fahad Sheikh(Khud parast, Jalan and Dunk). And how can one forget Minal Khan (Hassad, Jalan and Nand). Then there's side actor Maira Khan who's also in every play (Cheekh, Jalan, Bewafa).

Yes . They do. 😊 But they also give chance to new faces from time to another. Like : Noor Hassan in Hasad , Ali Rehman in : Bewafa , and Feroze Khan in Ishqia. 😃

Yes there have been other dramas on this sisters topic but their plot was kind of diff

Even Mawra's yahan pyar nahi hai was really similar to Jalan too
