First off, let me clarify, as per moderators, we will still be able to read old posts and OSs here, but we won't be able to comment on them or make new posts anymore. They will be locked. FFs will be shifted to the new Fan Fiction forum.
The IPKKND forum was the reason I joined IF and it continues to be my first port of call on the site. It is saddening to know I won't be able to say anything here anymore. The virtual fumes from Khushi's kacchua chhap mosquito coil is reaching out to silence all of us here :(
For me, it truly is an end of an era. I have interacted with so many amazing, talented, creative, amusing, witty, fun, people here. Many of whom are part of my asli duniya now. I know most have moved on to pastures new, but this is still where so many pop back to when the strains of Rabba Ve increase the dhak dhaks and memories of a jodi nonpareil reaches out to grasp our hearts again.
I still see many new fans here, and for a show that first aired nearly a decade back, that is quite something isn't it?!
Right now, Arnav's Kya bolun ab is what I feel. Will be back in a while.
Love,
Ruchi
Edited to add:
@ssttuuuttii has begun a campaign to keep the forum open. Please do have a look and help.
The admins may have decided,
"Kuch discuss nahin karte hain"
But, I'm glad she's asking,
"Sab kuch yunhi khatam ho jaane dete hai?"

Thanks to the efforts and determination of so many members, It seems the admins and mods have agreed to reconsider their decision. But, this is dependant upon the activity and participation of everyone here. We need to engage beyond writing and commenting upon stories. Those they want shifted to the new fan fiction forum to garner more eyeballs there, to compete with platforms like Wattpad. In the words of SRK (well, nearly!),
"toh kya hua agar ArHi ke chehre ke sivah tumhe koi aur chehra dikhai nahi deta ... toh kya hua agar ASR and KKGSR ke naam ke sivah tumhe koi aur naam yaad nahi rehta ... toh kya hua agar tum inhe deewano ki tarah pyar karte ho ... toh kya hua ... pyar sab kuch toh nahi hota na..."
So, let's show our love for the forum and for our show and allow our imagination to run riot and relive our memories of a serial that has us still hooked nearly a decade on. Below is a link to a thread which has a number of helpful and useful suggestions to encourage greater participation. Once again, thanks to @ssttuuuttii for her immense efforts.
