Thank you, really, for appreciating my thoughts. I spend so much time on this forum because I need a break from real life/office, and I also liked to challenge my own thoughts and put them to test here. It helped me get clarity about my thoughts and made me even more articulate. This forum has played a significant role in making me a thinking, opinionated individual over the last ten years.

I used to prefer this forum over others because of the familiarity and how small the group here is. Others like twitter, Reddit are a bit overwhelming, but I guess now I have to get used to them.

The moderation policies on this site are extremely ambiguous, opaque and subjective. Mods are extremely biased and blind to certain posts. Of late, their partisan behaviour became insufferable. I am sitting at 80% WL right now, and mods keep deleting my posts, even though they have nothing objectionable in them. They deleted some post where I said Sushant is no angel, he was also human. Many such posts.

I have never indulged in personal attacks because I don't feel the need to. I think my arguments are effective enough to do the damage to the opponent 😆

Anyway, I hope this is the perfect opportunity to get over my addiction to this forum and move along to greener pastures.

I hope to come back too (and I might) but not with the way mods have been (mis)handling the forum of late. (Waiting for this post to get deleted too.)

You know once they gave me a WL for criticizng a religion! When I asked the mod to show me where this rule is, they couldn't find it and sheepishly lowered the WL saying it was given in error.

I get so many personal attacks my way, I never retaliate, 99% of the times. However, I keep seeing the same people, those who name called me, lurking around the corner, without getting banned or anything. But if I indulge in the smallest heated debate, I get a WL. I got WLs for bashing a celeb 😂 when this forum's very existence has been due to celebrity bashing.

I have been given a lot of WLs in the past many years, but this is the first time I am sitting at 80% WL, where my number of posts is curtailed. They keep deleting even those few posts too. (All my posts today on Ankita are deleted. Why? What was so objectionable in them?) I cannot post a new thread either.

I don't like my free speech being muzzled like this. I don't want to come here every day and feel bitter. As it is, there is enough negativity thanks to my opinions.

I might just come back. But I definitely need a break and I am going to take it...

P.S. Even if they are Hrithik fans, when the Hrithik Kangana storm happened, I had supported Kangana back then. I never got this treatment even then. Strange.

But thanks for writing! It feels good knowing some people appreciate my presence on this hellsite.
