He has always 'liked' her, like how Maan talked about 'liking Navya', in a pre lockdown episode where Dadi asks Rey that if he has met someone he likes, he talks about a girl from his late teens with flashbacks of Prani. Which is followed by the first wishing tree scene with Praniti destroying their memories on one side and Rey reminiscing their days together on the other side of the tree.

As far as my perspective goes, he doesn't love her yet. Loving her means so much more. He like her, he cares for her, the feelings are getting stronger but the road to love is way longer journey.

From what I understood, in college he was cautious enough to not let it grow into anything beyond that. Because in the same scene he also talks about how he only loved his mother and she left him craving for her love. And that now he doesn't want love. He also said, earlier love ran away from me and now I'm running away from love. So I think he's made a conscious effort thus far to not fall in love and ruin his own state of balance/ peace.

Today she really taunted reyansh well... Here our hero is fuming in jealousy and there Riya asking him that he'll eat with pranati and she doesn't even give a damn about Reyansh and pranati's lies or truth about their relationship...

How sweet she is... After pranati, Riya scored her points...

That and rey-maan's talk.....were highlights of today's episode......poor rey....slowly becoming a gone case...hopefully the scene with pranati getting intoxicated leads to them opening up about their feelings.....and not anything else....

There won't be better explanation than this...he always likes her... No doubts in that but there's a difference between liking and loving... If I like a newly budded Rose in the garden, I'll pluck it and try to keep it for myself to admire it's Beauty but if I love that rose, I'll think before plucking and try to protect the rose from getting plucked from the plant.. ill think about the pain the rose undergo in the process of plucking and separating from the plant...

Reyansh is always in the like phase not love phase but I don't think CVS think this much in making him not to pluck but protect for love phase...
