"The Russian vaccine against kovid-19 Sputnik-V caused the formation of antibodies in all participants in the early stages of clinical trials, the results of the trials showed, which Moscow welcomed.

The results of two studies, conducted in June and July this year on a total of 76 subjects, showed that 100 percent of them developed antibodies to the new coronavirus and had no serious side effects, according to an article published Friday in the medical journal The Lancet.

The first results of the mass testing of the Russian vaccine, which began last week, are expected in October and November. It will cover 40,000 people, and 3,000 have already applied.

Commenting on the results of the first tests, the main author of the article, Naor Bar-Zeev, from the International Vaccine Access Center at the Bloomberg School of Public Health at Johns Hopkins University, said that the tests were "encouraging, but small".

Bar-Zeev pointed out that "the clinical efficacy of no covid-19 vaccine has not been proven yet."

I hope that before the end of the year, the Russian vaccine will be fully tested and that it will start to be applied.

The Russians were working on a vaccine for SARS and they just upgraded that vaccine. That's why they were the fastest.

Yes Nado, news of the Russian vaccine's efficacy is heartening, so also was the news that some vaccine in US would be ready by October. So by October to December, some vaccines would be ready, even an Indian one in association with Oxford. But the problem is mass inoculation programme which will take another few months, so till then, be very cautious friends.
