Well...it was started to support the labor movement and to pay tribute for the contribution & achievements of American workers....now most of us do a picnic. ...meet friends and family....go to the beach...basically, wrap up party for us North Easterners as the winter is on the horizon for us.......kids go back to schools.......this year....many forgot we have pandemic going on....crowding in the beach.......😡
