Sorry for butting in but...

But voting is a privilege and a duty as a citizen. You should definitely vote even if both candidates aren’t that great, one should vote for the better of the two.

I also don’t like Biden/Harris and obviously not Trump... but still gotta vote. 😊

If this turns into a full-blown debate on US vs India, I'll jump in to defend US's honor (despite Trump's presidency). Otherwise, I'm good watching from the sidelines.

Generalising an entire country over a family who has been *caught* and *arrested* for being on the wrong side of the law , talks a lot about you my friend. 🤗

No doubts she is being subjected to barbaric media but this had been true for other cases as well.

So if I would have seen the similar posts earlier I might have somewhere understand your generalising a country as large as India.

Condemning an act and stereotyping a country are two different things buddy.

Atleast here in my motherland people atleast have a baggage to get poked by the media , unlike other countries where people get shot just because somebody doesn't have a good mood.

To be fair to the topic maker, the way Rhea is getting manhandled and poked at by so many men and women who are supposedly "journalists" is barbaric at best. That's wrong and disturbing irrespective of whether she's guilty or not.

It's not right to judge India over that alone though, of course.

Wait... So, let me get this straight... Out of all the gazillion legitimate problems India has - aggressive rape culture, the ever decreasing state of security for women and children, the ever communalized friction between religious sects.. The treatment of Rhea and her family is the deal breaker for you? While I agree the way the case has been handled is less than ideal... But to be 'scared' of the whole country for this is wrong cause there's a legitimate and loud voice against it too. I assure you, there are better reasons to be scared of coming here.

So,I don't think anyone would mind or care if you choose to stay away.

Yaar india ke saare log bahut welcoming hai. Bure behave karne wale log toh har jagah hote hain, par entire country ko kyun generalize karna.

India probabky ek aisi country hogi jahan log tumhare saath photo khichane ke liye bettab rahenge just because you are foreigner and have gori chamadi. Itna fame konsi or country ke log denge bhala

Yes, downtown of any city will be sketch post sundown, that's everywhere! I visited India and in broad daylight there's harrasment, not respect for the next person etc. People aren't shot by color in India they're just slowly killed via gender, caste, even religion.
