The problem with Riddhima is that, she doesnt have all the 3rd person POV knowledge about Vansh that we have as viewers.

For her, Vansh is someone who forced her to marry him, doesnt let her be on her own terms, orders to wear his gift, yells and screams at her if she asks extra questions, even grabs her neck and pins her to wall if she upsets him. Not to mention, the Nariyal blast which has made her even more terrified of her.

He is romantic one day, burning her things the next day. He doubts her just as much as she doubts him. He thinks she is a spy and she thinks he is a criminal.

Given how Vansh was kicking her out of the house 2 days ago, her reaction to Vansh's sudden romantic behaviour is very normal.

People here grumble about how dumb Riddhima is (which she is, at times, no doubt), but she would have been truly dumb, if she had not doubted Vansh's sudden romantic advances and jumped into his arms instead.

Red- I don't feel she's dumb, most of the times she reacts in a natural way as a normal girl without any training as a spy would do.

Blue- I don't think she'd jump into his arms😆 no matter how hot, appealing or charismatic vansh is, it doesn't bother to her as she has Kabir in her mind(as of now)

Underlined- I don't feel that was romantic, poor girl was hell scared and he could sence that. Telling your wife to change NOW, giving her the gift you just burned some days before,.... doesn't give romantic vibes🤔

Riddima is attracted to vansh. And she is in fact deny that. That is her main problem

My only problem with THIS Riddhima is she's aware of sunny being a spy and is playing with ishani's feelings still she isn't doing anything. I hope all these is her planning to expose him

@bold - Not exactly. She was forced to stay because the only person she loves in this life put a gun to his head to kill himself unless the mission was a success. Only problem is, she hasnt realized it yet that it was emotional manipulation.

Also, even if she had run away...do you think Vansh would have spared her? He would have gone after her like he made Angre raid her hostel room.

Frankly I don't expect so early ridhima's perception will change regarding vansh. Infact it should not happen otherwise it will look OTT but which irritates me ;why ridhima can't see anything negative in her lover . Why she only blames vansh for her present situation & keeps completely flawless her lover! I hate this part of Ridihima.

By 3rd person POV, I dont mean POV of Dadi, etc. I mean, as viewers, we get to see Vansh's lonely moments, we hear his thoughts and monologues. That Riddhima does not get to hear or know.

Thus, we judge Vansh by looking at the overall picture, but she judges him purely based on his behaviour towards her.

Also, not raping his wife - though that's a big plus for Vansh - is not enough to change her perspective. Because, apart from that, Vansh is extremely temperamental with her. He is very unpredictable, at times helpful...at times, violent. Except Dadi and Siya, even his own family members bitch about him. Vansh has given her enough reason to doubt him.

@red - Same answer as I gave in my previous comment. She didnt marry Vansh out of choice. She was coerced by the love of her life who put a gun to his head and threatened to kill himself for the mission. Also, even if she had run away, Vansh wouldnt have left her alone so easily.

Only issue with her is, she is not able to realize yet the emotional manipulation Kabir did, because his actions are shrouded with the glory of "patriotic" intentions (as someone rightly pointed out in this thread itself). Something like desh ke liye kuch bhi...

Unless Kabir's true agenda comes out, she has no reason to question his motive.

@bold - True, but many loved the scene, so I mentioned romantic. 😊
