South scripture and north one often differ in mythology

I will tell u few examples

Durvasa as per our side is the son of lord shiv

He was born after maa paravati shiv wedding

Paravati devi married to shivji found many of his qualities unbearable especially his short tempered nature ek din uske anger limit paar kiya aur maane pair pakd ke request ki uski ye boori aadaath ( durvsasa ye ke According is bad qualities that resides inside and individual) mittane ko boli. So shivji calm hoke aapne saare gusse ko ek insaan ke roop mei badal di hamare liye vohi durvasa rishi he so iss side pe ye shraap ke katha nahi he

Then arjun exile on breaking the marital vow of pancahali and panadavas was for 12 months in South region whereas northern version depicts 12 years

According to our versions Pandava lost the one year to be spent with Draupadi and that year went to yudhishthir

So according to this side abhimanyu and prathivindhya was almost of same age

Then subhadra haran

Our versions have a beautiful love story like how arjun smitten by subhadra came to Dwaraka as a yati and how balaram asked kanya subhadra to take care of rishi serve him and get his blessings for upcoming marraige . Yaro was allowed to reside in the gardens of subhadras quarters and all we have a long and beautiful love story for that and how she on reaching dwaraka served Draupadi as a maid till a point where Draupadi found it difficult to live without her new sakhi

But north version thoda seedha saadha he lagtha he and vaha pe syaada that it is on subhadra insistance it happened and not arjun

Pata nahi but all the mytho shows subhdra haran much differently from what we see and have learned here

None of them has depicted the version we have heard

According to Maharastrian version durvasa is Son of Atri rishi n Anusuya..most of maharastrian script is based on northen coz most of our people go tothe north for their education.so northern versions jada hein.lekin peshwon ke time lagbhag pure india mein marathi log gaye to alag alag version add ho gaye.

As far as I have read, Atri Maharishi and Anusuya had only one son and he is Dattayreya

Dattayreya is the combination of the Tridev's Brahma,Vishnu and Shiva. They blessed Anusuya for her pativrata nature..

Ur story is absolutely correct but this story is from brahmand puran..woh shiv n brama ke bich mein zagada ho gaya and usaka parinam yeh ho gaya ki shivji ko woh kam karane ke liye parvati ji ne unase kaha tha anger kam karane ke liye.ye version marathi mein bhi hein n northen mein bhi yeh..its a pure version of purana.
