Agreed that there is scope in the story but that doesn’t mean other shows need to get affected. 10:30 is a late night slot. Bringing ratings in that slot is not as easy as you are imagining. The second most watched show is getting 0.6 ratings at that slot. So they won’t move YHC and Anupama from slots that are working in.

Ekta will most prolly replace KZK with her own new show only. SNS2 will prolly air at 8:30 pm and that leaves Gum Hai Kisi Key Pyar Mein for the 9pm slot. That means they might shift YRHPK to either 6:30 pm slot or 11 pm slot. But there are some news which claim that YJHJK will be shifted to 6:30 pm. So I don’t know if those slots would be free too.

Another possibility is they shift KZK to the said slots and GHKKPM takes the 8pm slot which doesn’t seem likely to me considering that Ekta doesn’t give away her slots easily. But you never know... so very thing just depends on ratings now. If they don’t increase, they’d shift it to either 6:30 pm or 11 pm which are the only free slots. Every other slot (Apart from ones which are going to have new shows) either has a new show already or a show that is working well, with the exception of YRKKH which is underperforming but again this show has been airing for 12 years, they aren’t moving that one lol!

I don't think slot is owned by any production house as such. It is decided by channel other wise ekta won't huv left 7.30 slot n would huv consider bringing yeh hain chaahtein back Dan considering spinoff was in her mind from 2017

The spin off came 1.5 years after the change to 10:30 pm. Lol The point is Ekta has a lot of clout and she is obsessed with KZK, which wasn’t exactly the case with YHM at the time of shift to 10:30 pm. And as you said, slot is not owned by any PH. If shows continue bringing low numbers like 1.3-1.4, the channel can as well axe it or shift it.

Anyway actual competition will start from 19 sept. With ppl working from home n no cricket matches dis year, ipl trp would be huge dis time.

Surely like every other year, IPL will affect TV ratings this time too. About Saturday telecast, I guess some of Colors’ shows air on Saturday too. But anyway channel gets much more detailed TRP than what we get. They have info for every day and every hour. They’d be in a better position to understand which shows are underperforming.

Even if we agree that Saturday telecast is bringing down overall numbers, this is try for all StarPlus shows. Even in the relative pecking order of StarPlus shows, this show isn’t doing great. So TRP definitely needs to improve.

I am not talking abt dis show. I am talking abt all d sp show. Before lockdown also when dey started d 6 days it effected all d show over all rating.

Abt dis show damage has already been done by dkp by going for surrogacy track when not even a single fan of d show is happy n reducing d FL nly for whining.

Anyway I still feel (edited) will reach the chopping table first. So this show’s makers should focus on increasing ratings.
