@Anam would you please mention each book's, genre along with the names? It would help us to know more about what we are diving into 😊
That’s a good idea. This month’s pick is a feminist classic, to put it broadly.

SPOILER:
Yes there is some romance in the story but its not the main part. Its not the typical romance that we see in other books.
I started reading The Color Purple. The language is a bit difficult to get at times.

Thank you.
I guess romance wasnt the main part of WTCS either but I still enjoyed it
@Unique.Sheep: You finished reading Where the Crawdads Sing? How much would you rate it?
I’m yet to start reading this month’s book or any book for that matter. Going through a bit of a slump.

Question - What do you girls do to get over a reading slump?

Read an old favourite (Harry Potter, in my case). So that it's easy to go through and I don't even have to put a lot of mind into it. Once I start getting into that story, I read a few short stories instead of long novels. A short story or two later I usually dove back into novels.
It always works for me.
@ Anam I read a good rom com. Sophia Kinsella and R.S Grey seems to be my author for this genre. In case I don't feel like picking a new book, I reread my favorite ones.
