People are mentioning the weird light banter between Anurag and Prerna and how inappropriate it seems in light of the huge gulf between them right now.

Here's my take. Prerna and Anurag exist in a universe all by themselves. (Sneha is a natural organic addition, but not realized as yet)

Anurag and Prerna can not ignore each other. In normal circumstances, they would be holding hands, smiling, and gazing at each other. But because nothing is normal between them, they are communicating in weird ways, because they simply can't ignore each other. They exist for each other.

They want to talk about the HUGE thing that happened eight years ago. But neither is emotionally equipped to deal with the emotional and mental trauma that transpired. Did either of them get any counseling? They are talking around the point, but I am just glad they are engaging. I knew they will get there, eventually.

Now Anurag had taken the lead to discuss why the incident happened.... Now they are addressing the 1000lb gorilla in the room.

(Sadly we may never get the intensity of the earlier episodes by the same actors. They appear to have lost interest)

Exactly.... The actors as well as the audience had enough of everything. So, it's like no more patience left in either party. Hence now, everyone is just like going with the flow. 😊

Yeah there is so much intensity in their scenes. Just that.. the timing is wrong. The anurag basu who is worried for thorns and pricks threw the same girl off 30 feet in a river / ocean but didnt show any pain. If that wasnt enuf he gave away "his" daughter to a stranger n ordered her to deliver it to prerna Sharma basu bajaj. 8 yrs he was thinking HOW will I tell this to prerna my love.my noblest intentions and clean heart full of love but 8 yrs he didnt find courage. But now he does after pre mistakingly thought of him as a pricker of thorn👎🏼

Love has many shades.Right now anupre kove should have colour of haterd and passion.Their scenes r ohaky but these scenes cannot be digested until howrah bridge and cp mu get cleared.pre need to hate anurag, anurag need to hate himself more and live in guilt.pre actually need to destroy anurag Basu completely.wgen their mu got clear and after redemption of anurag Basu .then only these scenes can look good and cute .till then it's impossible to see how easily they communicate with eachother like nothing happened between them

While I appreciate everyone's point of view, I personally feel we are missing the point of the interactions between Anurag and Prerna in the recent episodes.

I don't see or hear (with subtitles!) petty squabbles, or romance.

I see two desperate people, who are forever drawn to each other, yet separated by unbearable circumstances. A HUGE chasm exists in their relationship, where once love existed, we have an inexplicable dark hole.

Their minor interactions involving Sneha are just a cover-up. Their souls are crying out to each other.

They could walk away and never find peace. Or they could thrash it out. And then walk away.

I wish it was half as passionate . It's there only in the imagination and imagination knows no bounds. screen par toh kuch aur hi hai. If I saw this intensity between then "once" in their story I would root for them but giving up on each other at the first instance without fighting and then cry for each othrr , that's not my idea of love. But it may be it is for some ..so I won't say anything further..plz carry on

For me, these moments now feel disjointed. The writing and the acting doesn't bring out any angst these 2 should be feeling. I saw a couple of clips of the same 2 actors from a year ago, that scene atleast made me sympathise with them. Can only imagine how genuine fans would be feeling sort of shortchanged here. I would say the current khichdi is a mix of poor writing and emoting.

The enormity of throwing a loved one off a bridge should warrant more hate, disbelief and a plethora of other emotions. I just don't see any of it in the recent episodes. No one seems to be asking him why he did it, he isn't richer by much. For Prerna, the lesser said the better. She can keep loving him (fictional characters are free to do whatever, let's not expect logic) but that should drive her to hate herself for that.

How are people supposed to feel sorry for them and appreciate their sacrifice if it doesn't evoke any emotions in the audience? Looking at Komolika atleast brings forth repulsive feelings. I want to feel sorry for these 2 but look at them, can one really?

The highlighted part seems to be true. Everyone is just going through the motions.

For far too long Anurag and Prerna have only interacted with each other, they have yet to have an adult discussion - which is why addressing anything between them is a problem.
