I miss my best friend

Its such a beautiful track where Abir and Mishti think about how their marriage has changed their equation, How they have to adapt to this new relationship

Sucks that this is a part of Kuhu-Baby track

Anyway, I was wondering if Abir is having conflict over his love for the woman he thought Mishti was when he wasn't around her 24/7 and now he is living with her so he thinks that small doses of Mishti are endearing but now when he lives with her, he can't take it so he takes off like their first fight after marriage where he was sleeping on roof, then he ran off to resort, then he left her in resort, now he left her and took off to Maheshwari House

There's a pattern here, I remember Abir had said that Mishti is like BigBen and Abir stayed away from home to avoid conflict between him and Meenu

He is happy around BM, BP, Kunal but whenever Mishti comes in front of him, he is upset and frustrated

Kunal accepted that Kuhu has Major role in Mishti and Kuhu fight, I don't see him being irritated with Kuhu, He was laughing and smiling while messaging her

I came to two conclusions -

1 Abir is irritated with Mishti and too much of her

2 He wants to isolate Mishti so she has no other option than confide in Kuhu

Like today Mishti told Kuhu that she is feeling alone because everyone has left her. But isn't this putting his relationship with Mishti on the link for Kuhu-Mishti?

Abir is manipulating mishti into being friends with Kuhu. Mishti and kuhu cant be friends or sisters cioz for every little thing kuhu blames mishti. I don’t get why abir can’t see that and he wants them to be friends. Abir should focus on their relationship b4 even thinking about kids. He has way too much childishness in him since he always runs away from any kind of fight or confrontation.

I don't think he is manipulating Mishti, The thing is that Mishti and Kuhu aren't the only people who have had childhood problems and insecurity, Abir doesn't let his past affect his relatives but there's this urge to leave the situation of conflict where his loved ones are involved be it Meenu or Mishti

That comes very natural to him, that's the "Norm" for him, He has done this all his life, he came to Maheshwari family this time, maybe because he wants to make Mishti feel that he is with her, just in a different home, he is not leaving her like he did last time during resort track

I am just not understanding why is he pushing her away from him? When Kuhu's husband knows that 95% responsibility is Kuhu's then why so much pressure on Mishti?

If Abir was in his element of "I love You Mishti but I can't come home", like Kunal is with Kuhu

I don't want Abir to be like Kunal but I am not able to understand why is this issue so serious when Mishbir talk and funny when KuKu talk?

Why Abir is happy around BM, BP, Kunal, Meenu, even Kuhu but irritated around Mishti?

Abir is an escapist, he has a tendency to escape from conflicts! Yet the same Abir has faced his mother as an adversary when she was trying to harm the ones he loved or inflicting injustices on innocent people.

Abir runs away when things go out of control and he cannot handle it anymore.

I think he misses the Chashmish Mishti, his best friend and first love! Mishbir rushed into marriage, they should have waited a few months after Nannu left, they should have waited to reconnect, they had gone through so much heartbreak and anguish in the months before with Abir repeatedly rejecting Mishti and then her almost getting married to Nannu. They should have waited to re-establish their friendship and understanding. Meenu rushed them into marriage and Abir also didn’t want to take the risk of losing Mishti again. But they should have waited....

Since their marriage Mishbir have not enjoyed a single day of marital bliss without Kuhu’s outbursts or Meenu’s dirty tricks! Abir knows the tactics to deal with Meenu but he has no idea how to handle Kuhu. He thinks Mishti should know more about how to manage Kuhu’s tantrums since she’s lived with her for past 10 years, shared the same room. Like Abir knows how to handle Meenu because she’s his mom.

Also post wedding, Abir thinks Mishti is reacting too much to Meenu and Kuhu, instead of tackling them with caution and cleverness. His expectations from Mishti is too high given that all along Mishti, his Angry Chorni was the one who always solved problems, the one who fought to get back his love, the one who crossed rivers of fire to unite with him!

Familiarity breeds Contempt! I hope that’s not the case. When expectations are too high and your lover doesn’t fulfill your expectations after marriage then disappointment is also on a bigger scale. Probably that’s what’s happening with Abir regarding his Mishti.
