My take is, the promo’s of the show were slightly misleading and half baked and I do feel bad for the people who tuned in thinking this was going to be Kabir Rid story which so far it has clearly proven to not be. I was one of the viewers who was never attracted to kabir n Rid and so stayed away until I saw a RiAnsh VM.

I have a feeling the makers were confused on how to sell the show. Because while the promos showed it to be RidBir lovestory the first episode said something completely different.

When I come to think of it, the promos of the show was never really about RidBir but Ridhima. Always stronglying highlighting Ridhima’s sacrifice and the length she would go for love. Her angst and the boundaries she would break in the name of love.

Kabir is a part of the story and there's definitely more to explore just like Ridhima and Vansh. However, this is the lovestory of RiAnsh and has been since day one. They have all the tropes of a lovestory something KibRid never had, still don't have even in their little meetings.

I do feel like the cvs always had RiAnsh as endgame in their minds from day one its just the didn't know how to sell the show or were trying too hard to build mystery around Vansh by not revealing much about him.

I agree.. that's what the makers wanted. They didn't want to reveal much about Vansh . Vansh wasn't in the initial promos also because auditions were going on that time and Rrahul wasn't chosen yet

Bless you dear and I really hope that you are right because I can't practically see RidBir happening anywhere... I mean if before Riddhima met Vansh had the makers taken at least two-weeks or so minimum to establish RidBir before Vansh entered their equation than I would have thought something else maybe. But they directly jumped to RiAnsh, building their relationship amidst all this mysteries and bleeding conspiracies where love is surely to bloom *at least I feel so*. And I can't practically believe that no matter for whatever reason Riddhima married Vansh, she won't be affected or influenced by him... as a wife she is bound to know him intimately as no one else does, so sooner or later slowly and steadily she would have to see him different light than Kabir projected Vansh to be. Riddhima is going to be affected when she sees Vansh really without prejudice or biased thoughts, starts understanding him better and for real, she is now under the protective shadow of her husband which when she would loose that shelter, it will make her crave for it... It is foolish to think and if happened that after all this if Riddhima returned to Kabir, she would be same as she was before she met Vansh... aisa possible hi nahi hai. So, for me RidBir is sort of tainted too much to ever happen now in any time in future, not that I want it to happen in first place but I hope you get what I mean to say...

JNDSD was of different genre and in that show the guy who did Atharv left the show in middle I think for a short time but on fans demand he was back since people weren't liking Vivdha-Ravish pair as Vivdha-Atharv had a huge fanbase. That show strongly started with Vivdha-Atharv loving each other but her father was opposed it and the show ended with Vivdha-Atharv only if I remember correctly since I didn't watch it.
